AORA V OPEN CALL: nature/nurture

We’re so excited to announce our next open call for AORA: V that will respond to the theme of ‘nature/nurture’. All work selected by the jury will be exhibited digitally in the next exhibition launching in October 2021.

We are excited to open this opportunity to artists working in all media from sound to painting, installation and sculpture.

Today, the #PradaGroup, in partnership with Rebuild Foundation and Dorchester Industries by Theaster Gates Studio, announces the launch of Dorchester Industries Experimental Design Lab, a three-year programme anchored on Chicago’s South Side empowering emerging and established designers of color through design awards and public programming. Each Experimental Design Lab awardee will be nominated for the Experimental Design Awards, which will honor rising designers with financial support, mentorship and creative opportunities.

With over 300 participating employers, the Scheme is extended to cover more trades and industries. Programmes including Higher Diploma, Diploma of Foundation Studies and Diploma of Vocational Education will be offered under the Scheme.

Covering a number of trades and industries, including Engineering and Technology, Transportation, Design, Jewellery and Creative Industry, Healthcare Services, Testing and Certification, the Scheme targets Secondary 3 to 6 graduates.

Filmed this makeup look awhile back but it's something different - Love how bold, fun and creative it turned out! Played around with the Anastasia Beverly Hills Elyssa Edwards and Norvina Palette to create this look, and it honestly was so much fun ??
