In occasion of the Photo Vogue Festival held in November 2019, Gucci Beauty and Vogue Italia launched an Instagram scouting project. As a result, photographer David PD Hyde captures Ellie and Kadri Vahersalu for a special editorial featuring the buildable Gucci Mascara L’Obscur. The portfolio is inspired by Creative Director Alessandro Michele’s words: “I designed L’Obscur mascara for an authentic person who uses makeup to tell their story of freedom, in their way.”
The Gucci Beauty and Vogue Italia Instagram scouting project—first launched during the Photo Vogue Festival in November 2019–results in a special editorial captured by photographer David PD Hyde. Under Alessia Glaviano’s artistic direction and styling by @mrsemilyevans, seen here are models Enam Asiama, Ruoyi Yi and Sarah Batt wearing the buildable Gucci Mascara L’Obscur conceived by Alessandro Michele.
