Thank you for a unique and aromatic Beggar's Chicken. I definitely was impressed by the presentation and smell (herbs ❤️). So fragrant and still hot 😱 fresh from the oven. Chicken still moist and juicy 😋 especially when you get the part with the herbs and dates, those has a sweeter taste. The chicken are easily peeled and cooked through (I'll be adding these. into my soup 🤭). Don't be eating the crust though 🙈 those are to keep the chicken warm.

The coconut cookies smells like the hard coconut biscuits that I used to eat when I was younger, this has a softer texture and is buttery. A salty and sugary finish. Not bad.

Finally managed to try the beef “char siu” from this restaurant! The Australian black angus beef char siu tasted just like normal pork char siu but with a steak texture. This dish has the best of both worlds and I would certainly recommend anyone who has never tried beef char siu before to go try it. The John Anthony Dark Roasted Goose and the John Anthony’s Signature Salt-Baked Chicken were really yummy too. The skin of the goose was crispy and flavourful while the meat was nice and tender. As for the chicken, the chef deboned the whole thing by hand and the chicken meat was very tender and full of flavours.
