This pair of siblings were stuck in a deep drain climbing up a very steep hillside jungle. Without food and ways to get out of the drain.
We have been hearing their cryings since Monday. And today, a Good Samaritan sent us a video informing us there are puppies trapped there.
So, we went on our usual feeding route tonight, and saw the puppies peeping out the drainage looking sad!
They were crying when the rest of the pack was eating. Poor poor little babies!
We were not sure if they were really trapped, so the only way to find out was to climb up that drainage in the dark. Thankfully we managed to get backup help & with our phone and torch lights, we climbed up only to find these two looking so weak and scared, trying to huddle so closely in a corner of the steep step wall.
They were so afraid, they shivered when we held them and brought them down.
They poo-ed dried leaves, reconfirming that they’ve been stuck there for quite some time without food.
We now need to start rehabilitating them as soon as possible so that they’re ready to be rehome while they are still small. (cos it’s harder to rehome older dogs 😨)
Pray for them that they will soon gain trust to us and show their true happy colors.
