[Dry Mee Siam 干炒米暹]
Mee siam is one of Singaporean's favourite dishes & amongst the most notable in Singapore. However, what you get out there is usually the original mee siam which is spicy vermicelli served with tangy gravy. I don't know who is the ingenious one who thought of making fried mee siam instead. Whoever the person is, he/she is brilliant! This is absolutely yummy! If you like to host parties at home, this recipe is a good change from your usual plain beehoon or fried rice.
