Merazo - a slice of Greece in Pune
White coloured building with blue interiors,beautiful view, cute lights, picture perfect place.. Does it sound like Greece? No, I was talking about the Greece themed restaurant at Wakad, Pune.
If you are hopelessly in love and want to go on a dream date with your beloved, then Merazo is the place to be😊 The restaurant is beautifully decorated with blue and white interiors, there is light music playing in the background, the outdoor seating is lit with antique lamps, the ambience is so very perfect, it looks like it is straight out of any Bollywood movie shot at Greece😀 The best part about this restaurant is that it looks stunning during the day and equally mesmerising in the night with beautiful lights illuminating the place. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. The tables are not placed very close to each other, thereby giving the privacy one could ask for. It's the perfect place for a lunch or dinner date. You get the feeling that you are dining in one of the castles of a fairy-tale 😊
There is an exclusive bar counter with variety of drinks. I couldn't believe that the bar counter also could be so gorgeous. The food menu has a lot of variety and twists. Indian food with a twist of continental and vice versa. The quality of the food was good but nothing great. We had a few mocktails and they were quiet refreshing. The starters were delicious but not many options in veg. For main course, we ordered North Indian and Chinese food. The noodles were yummy and the mix veg gravy for the roti was also very tasty. The Biryani was well cooked and nicely blend.
It's the perfect place for a dreamy date or a lunch/dinner get together with family. Their official photographer was always around and was clicking pictures for the photo buffs. The music, the interior, the ambience everything is so very classy and elegant . They also have live sports screening, and there are days when there's live music performances.
If you are looking for a private dining with a romantic touch to the ambience, it has to be Merazo.
