Batteries are Included!
“The blessing of the Lord–it makes [truly] rich, and He adds no sorrow with it [neither does toiling increase it].” (Proverbs 10:22 AMPC)
When you toil hard by your own efforts to obtain good things, you may be able to get it, but it comes without batteries.
This means that the good thing doesn’t come with the power to sustain it. You have to keep on maintaining it with your own efforts and it’s very tiring.
I have experienced that before—getting good things by forcing it instead of trusting Jesus to provide it through His way.
When you struggle to get things by your own efforts, it can feel like you’re scooping water into a bucket that has a hole at the bottom.
The power to retain the good thing isn’t there. It’s like the moment you get it, somehow something bad will happen and it’s gone.
When you try to get good things your own way, it’s a compromised success—you sacrifice some areas in order to boost a particular area.
It never ends well and just brings unnecessary pain and suffering.
What we need is God’s blessing. With His blessing, batteries are included—the power to sustain and even increase the good thing is supplied.
No stressful labor is needed to upkeep the blessing because it’s a grace gift.
God’s blessing becomes a reality in your life through faith.
When you believe and confess that what you believe is happening, you are able to receive what God wants to supply in your life.
When you see the lavish quality of God’s blessing, you’ll find that the tiny measure of good things you toiled for is an absolute joke.
His favor can add much more to you than you can ever toil for by your own efforts. He can add much more quality and quantity of blessings in much less time!
There is no limit to how much blessings you can receive because Jesus’ finished work at the cross is the infinite payment for your total forgiveness of sins and righteousness before God.
You will never run out of righteousness and God will never run out of supply!
The only limit today is the one you believe exists.
This year, you’ll need the entrance of God’s word to give you light to see your blessings. His word will be a lamp to your feet, showing you the way step by step.
