台中有的「台中小東南亞」之稱的東協廣場，台灣移工社群的非營利組織 1095， 創辦人官安妮說，他們在六年前開始駐點當地，也開始認識附近商圈。
東協廣場內的餐廳，分為泰國、菲律賓、越南餐廳三個區域。泰國餐廳都是以東北口味為主，而新住民經營的店面通常都有飲食以外的功能，像是提供卡拉OK，或可作為結婚的空間，來滿足海外遊子思鄉的心情。

228連假結束, 希望大家都有充電滿滿來面對新的一週. 本月份我們將介紹1960年代為非裔美國人音樂開啓嶄新市場的重要唱片公司--Motown Records(摩城唱片). 摩城唱片有許多鼎鼎大名的劃時代音樂人, 如: Smokey Robinson, Diana Ross, The Temptations, Jackson 5, Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye, The Four Tops等. 光提到這些名字相信大家一定好奇Motown到底是一個怎麼樣的唱片公司, 他們又是如何崛起的呢？ 我們將從Motwon的創辦人Berry Gordy的故事講起, 帶大家一窺摩城唱片從如何成立到大紅大紫的傳奇故事.
