#Repost IG: @the.ark.team If you’re a diver who’s a fan of the big stuff, then good news: Layang Layang isn’t only about hammerhead sharks. For example, at dive sites like The Point or Wrasse Strip, sightings of reef manta rays are quite common.

Other commonly seen big animals here are white tip sharks, grey reef sharks, dogtooth tunas (some of these guys are so large they’re mistaken for a shark at first glance!), and schools of barracudas and jackfish. Sometimes, eagle rays and marbled rays make an appearance too. On a rare occasion, thresher sharks and even pods of orcas have also been sighted here!

今天再創人生巔峰:拍到龍王鯛
雖然小弟我不是甚麼魚類專家
但是對於這個去年跟最近又鬧得沸沸揚揚的物種也是略懂略懂的
今天沒看錯的話看到兩隻,一隻體型蠻大的,我覺得差不多有2公尺長
這隻是體型小一點的,很剛好的就在船尾浮潛要下水的地方!!
不然我看牠平時大概是在5~10公尺深處遊的
GoPro在這個深度因為光線太差也拍不出什麼了
原本是想拍照的,但是我的GoPro預設開啟時視錄影模式,因為怕牠游走
還是先錄下來再說吧!這也是距離最接近的一次了
之後都在深的地方游QQ

曲紋唇魚,又稱龍王鯛,蘇眉魚
English name:Humphead wrasse
學名(scientific name):Cheilinus undulatus
龍王鯛為有名的食用魚,因近年過度捕撈而被IUCN紅色名錄列為瀕危物種
台灣附近的數量不到30 隻,全球的數量我查不到QQ
目前受到《瀕危野生動植物種國際貿易公約》（CITES）保護
列為附錄II的物種，表示管有及進行貿易時均受到許可證制度管制。

Though I'm not an expert in fish, but I still know a little bit about this species ─ the Humphead Wrasse, one of the very endangered species in the world. I saw 2 of them today~ one of then is quite big! I think it's about 2 meters long, and this one is a little bit smaller.
