Playing in the rain and getting all wet and cold?
Yup, that was what I let the girls do last night and what I hope they will let their kids do next time too. Well, at least once in a while.
We had lots of fun at Bounce-A-Saurus Fiesta at @vivocitysingapore as we jumped and ran around on the inflatables, tried our luck at the carnival games and went down a 5-metre tall water slide! The carnival games include ring toss, basketball, fish the duck, smash the cans and if you fail, you just have to queue to go again. It reminded me of my childhood and I was thrilled to get the chance to play with the kids too.
There are four dry inflatables, namely Charly's Adventures which is like a mini obstacle course, Britney's Playground which features a slide, Stanley's Forest which has trees and a giant transparent ball in the middle, and Tricia's Garden which has flowers and dinosaurs. Our favourite was Stanley's Forest and I can't tell you how much we laughed, chased, ran and fell inside as we played tag. The kids kept asking me to catch them and I decided to put my phone away and obliged. Well, I ran the fastest I could and even fell flat on my face a few times lor, which only made them laugh even more. Haha.
Angel told me "Mama, there's only one parent who is on the bouncy castles playing with the kids. You." Awwww. Guess that was her way of saying thanks and that she loved how we did what we did. I enjoyed it very much too, my dears, thanks for making me feel young again!
The girls also enjoyed getting themselves all wet at Tyner's Water Slide - kids have to be above 1.1m - which I guess was the best way to end off an enjoyable night. Woohoo.
Bounce-A-Saurus takes place till 25 Dec at the VivoCity's Outdoor Plaza on Level 1. Tickets are on sale at Sistic and costs $5 for weekdays and $8 for weekends and PH. Totally worth it, if you ask me. Thanks for having us, @vivocitysingapore!
