Also known as the Big Buddha, Tian Tan is a large statue located next to the remote Po Lin Monastery on Lantau Island. It was completed in 1993 and is one of the largest seated Buddhas in the world!

Wat Machimmaram is located at Pengkalan Kubur located about 20km from Kota Bharu. This huge sitting buddha statue is about 30m 😱. Not the biggest but this is big.

This buddhist temple opens from 9am to 5pm. Admission is free, donations are welcome.

家家彌陀，戶戶觀音。這句話所言极是啊!吾，玳瑚師父，客人群中，大半都是家中有供奉，南無觀世音菩薩的。甚至，有很多的客人，還是菩薩的引領，而來嚮吾請教，化解障碍的良方的呢！
明日乃菩薩的聖誕，沐浴著新淨衣服，供上香花燈茶菓，虔敬的嚮祂懺悔，過去因身口意所犯的，種種大小諸惡業，跟著恭唸一百零八，或一千零八十遍，南無大慈大悲觀世音菩薩摩訶薩，並囘嚮於自己或他人。
菩薩千百亿化身。菩薩悲願深厚。妳你祇要一心虔誠，頂禮，供養，恭唸其聖號及禱之，菩薩沒有不應的道理。更何況，祂本就是息災的本尊啊！要知道，任何一種狀況，出現在妳你的生命中，妳你都有可能，視它爲妳你的災難呀!大家好好地把握，這慈悲尊的聖誕，好好的淨化淨化自己。

"Every family prays to the Amitabha Buddha, every household prays to the Guan Yin Bodhisattva". This is such a true phrase! Among the many clients of Master Dai Hu, more than half of them have a statue of the Guan Yin Bodhisattva at home. Furthermore, many of them were led to me by the Bodhisattva to solve their woes!
Tomorrow is the Holy Birthday of Guan Yin Bodhisattva. We can bath and change into clean clothing before making offerings of incense, flowers, tea and fruits to repent our misdeeds, big and small, arising from our Body, Speech and Mind, in front of Bodhisattva. Following that, we can recite His Holy Name, "Namo Da Ci Da Bei Guan Shi Yin Pu Sa Mo He Sa"(南無大慈大悲觀世音菩薩摩訶薩) , for 108 or 1080 times, and dedicate this merits to ourselves or others.
The Bodhisattva has countless manifestations and His Vows are immeasurably deep. As long as you are sincere in paying homage, making offerings, reciting his Holy Name, and saying your prayers, the Bodhisattva has no reason not to grant your wishes. Furthermore, He is the Root Deity for the Eradication of All Calamities! You must know that any situation in your life can potentially be a misfortune! I hope everybody will treasure this opportunity with this compassionate Bodhisattva and truly cleanse yourself.
節分是四季中最後一個季節的冬季
與最初一個季節的春季交替的日子
也就是說，第二天開始進入春季，是新四季的起點

When visiting Bangkok, one should not miss a chance to visit the old city despite its distance from the BTS and metro line.
Since we were on a tight schedule and live far away, we only have one day to visit so we decided to hit the big three: Grand Palace, Wat Pho, and Wat Arun!
We started off with the Grand Palace, as it closes relatively early. It is most famous for the Temple of Emerald Buddha among other temples and palaces.
Next is Wat Pho, also known as temple of reclining buddha with a 47m long reclining buddha statue and the first massage school in Thailand.
Last but not least is Wat Arun, frequently seen on Instagram. It's distinctive with the three towers and is also known as the temple of dawn.

The Big Buddha in Phuket, Thailand; You either love it or hate it, it's either your best friend or your enemy, regardless of how you feel about it it's a workout unlike any other.
Tiger Muay Thai offers the Big Buddha run every Tuesday, as part of its daily body fit classes. Guests meet in front of Tiger's office and are transported to the base of Big Buddha to begin the journey. Big Buddha is one of Phuket's most important and revered landmarks. It's a large Buddha marble statue that sits on the highest point in Phuket. It's a steep 4KM(2.5 mile) climb from the base of the hill, where we begin our Buddha run.
Each time you do it you will see new things. Elephants, monkeys, butterflies, birds, lizards, and more. Even the weather can be exciting. Along the way there are also spectacular viewpoints overlooking Phuket. It's challenging mentally and physically.
