Design of FLOWER
Poster and music album packaging design for a Hong Kong rapper, Heyo. The concept of the music album, Flower, is literally talking about the ages we spent for exchanging our talents. The Chinese title “花華” pronounces very similar to “flower”, which is like the similar pronunciation of “mother” in Chinese and English. While the Chinese word “華” is an ancient word of “花”. And “flow-er” can also mean a person who flows.
The design applied the Buddhism instruments and elements to brings out the concept, and also illustrated 12 unique Buddhism instruments for each songs. The album was printed in rough paper to highlight the idea of the 10-year ages.
