This piece by far is the most personal piece to me out of the photo series "Birdsong" coming soon. It's not an elabourate conceptual photo, but it holds a lot of meaning. I've always had the battle between what I should do and what I want to do, where my duty and loyalties lie, my parents vs. my self. Being selfish is one thing for me, but being selfless all the time is too much. I chose to pursue my freedom at a young age and it's a battle I fight for everyday. I'll write something about my story later on but for now, here's my battle. And it's one that I'm winning.
