*** URGENT DONATIONS NEEDED FOR STRAY DOG ***
This poor dog was found by Zhafri in Sunway abandoned & left to fend for himself on Saturday (13th April 2019) & was brought to UPM for medical care this morning (15th April 2019).
He’s currently boarding at UPM, where earlier this morning he received an x-ray & also a blood test.
Vets at UPM suspect the lump near his pelvis might be cancerous (results out in 3 days) & have confirmed that the sores on his body is Demodex (a type infestation that involves mites).
He really is in dire need of medical care & any donations are welcome to ease Zhafri with the costs that will have to be paid until he can feel better.
Zhafri has already paid RM550 today for the initial costs at UPM. Plus, boarding & vet consultation fees for Saturday (13/4/19) & Sunday (14/4/19).
Should you be so kind as to want to help, please make all donations out to:
Muhamad Zhafri Bin Rahmat
Maybank: 1622 6337 8632
Please address your donations as “Donation for Sunway stray dog”
Will keep this post updated on his condition / blood test & x-ray results as we learn more from the vets in the days to come.
Your help in sharing this post & spreading the word would mean everything to this poor little guy. With hope, your kind donations will lead him to living a better life than he is now.
He really is a good boy & went through the x-ray & blood test like a trooper! Thank you in advance for your help - Zhafri
*** UPDATE: 17/4/19 Blood test results are back for “Doggo”:
Problems include:
Anemis
Demodicosis
Tvt
Superficial dermatitis
Malasseziasis
Tests needed to check for include:
Parasites
Heartworm
E canis
Anoplasma
Lymedisease
He will need to be reassessed by Dr Gaya at UPM in 2 weeks
Zhafri is truly grateful for the amount raised so far (RM3,930) but do keep the donations coming in as Doggo has a very steep uphill battle that will require extensive medical care.
If anyone here knows of any professional vet services that would be great too.
So please do forward & share. Thank you ***
