It's Carnival time again, and nobody does it better than our friends in Brazil. Our very own 501st Divisão Brasil - Brazilian Division Garrison joined forces with 3 other Star Wars fangroups, to produce this impressive, very impressive display. Even the Empire cannot resist the magnitude of fun at #Carnival2019!

In Bacolod a city in the Negros Occidental of Philippines 🇵🇭 enjoying carnival time “Masskara”.
Theres a dark past n history about this festival. Its a combination of the harvest festival and a dark story of a sinking vessel that sank more than 700 people from this area. But the lesson behind it is the strong will and spirit of the local people and how life must go on and the bright smiles of the local people.
2 full days of colors, dance, party, food and smiles filled the city of bacolod. Had so much fun.. the closest ill get to carnival in brazil.. the best thing its not too far from home.

昨日週五是「聖母日」巴西的國定假日之一。巴西金融街「聖保羅人大道(Avenida Paulista)」被封了起來，只有自行車能通過。
街上充滿了路邊攤小販，賣手工藝品、啤酒飲料，一路都有街頭藝人表演音樂。熱情的巴西人聽到音樂直接在街上熱舞起來，一個小市集就這麼熱鬧，不難想像巴西嘉年華時街上會有多麽瘋狂。
Yesterday was national holiday of Brazil. The famous Avenida Paulista was blocked for bike and pedestrian only. There are vendors and beer trucks, and of course music everywhere. People danced with music. It's not hard to imagine how crazy it will be for Brazil Carnival.

This is the annual Asakusa Carnival parade. That's right! we have Brazilian carnival ( or carnaval ) in Japan too!
it feels so amazing and welcoming that Japan created such a lively fun event for all of us. in this event you can see not only, Japanese and some Brazilians but mixed nationalities being part of the parade. elderly people and kids as well.
Wonderful isn`t it?

Guangzhou / Hong Kong / Macao / Chengdu Youth Skills Competition cum Carnival 2014 was successfully held in the Kai Tak Cruise Terminal on 31 October and 1 November. Competitors from Guangzhou, Macao, Chengdu and Hong Kong demonstrated skills excellence by competing in five trades.
Around 10,000 visitors enjoyed watching the competitions and participating in the 'Skills Connect DIY' activities to experience the pleasure of learning skills. Outstanding Hong Kong competitors have the chance to represent Hong Kong to compete in the WorldSkills Competition to be held in São Paulo, Brazil in August this year.
