So here it is, me after watching Cats the Musical! There are PLENTY of reviews about this online, and I’m here to add one more to the pool 🤣

The moment I stepped into the theatre, I was taken aback by the beautiful set on stage. It was elaborate, glamorous, lavish and more. The opening scene was a carefully executed light performance. As the musical progressed, I was very impressed by the moves! Dance steps were so synchronised, everyone had to be professional dancers who have been dancing for 10 years to say the least. Lines, angles, moves, flexibility; all performed to perfection. As a dancer myself, this was quite pleasant to watch. The team was also excellent in terms of singing and interacting with the audience!

I do feel, though, that its better to refresh your memory of the story line before watching it. Else, it may be quite easy to lose the (already relatively simple) plot of the musical. The stage setting remained the same from start to end, and the lighting was pretty dark (because it was a night scene). Paired with the melodious singing, it does make one feel very, very comfortable in the soft, plush seats 😅

The entire musical is about 2 hours long, excluding a 20 minutes intermission! 4 more days left to catch Cats the Musical, I would strongly recommend this to people who likes artistic productions!
