終於排到假可以出國玩，好想去遠一點的地方，從美國東岸飛到西岸，紐約洛城一次完成；想在歐洲搭NT500的廉航、東西南北自由飛……但是……好怕機場櫃檯不是說中文不知道聽不聽得懂，只能瞪著空姐傻笑，雖不至於回不了家，但在airport check-in counter（機場櫃臺）雞同鴨講，耽誤後面排隊人潮的時間也是挺尷尬的！

【日本小教室－差異點】
フロント、受付、カウンター、インフォーメーション這些中文意思都為櫃台，但實際作業內容有些許不同喔！
フロント：中文為櫃台、登記處、服務台。英文為Front。通常用於飯店的櫃檯，有做check-in跟check-out、接聽電話、收費等的作業。做的事情會比較廣喔～
例：チェックアウト後でもホテルのフロントで荷物を預かってもらうことができるよ。（即便退房了也還是可以將行李寄放櫃台）
【漢字讀法】
預かる（あずかる）：寄放、保管。
受付（うけつけ）：中文為櫃台、服務台、接待處。作業內容比較不需要收費用。例如公司、補習班、展示會、醫院等的櫃檯。
例：本日、受付は終了しました。（今日的服務時間已終了）
受付でその手続しています。（在櫃台做這個手續）
【漢字讀法】
終了（しゅうりょう）
手続き（てつづき）
カウンター：中文為櫃台、吧檯、服務台。英文為Counter。但既然是外來語，裝潢上（桌子類型）也會比較偏向西洋風。
例：パブのカウンターでウィスキーを売っている。在Pub的吧檯有賣威士忌(Whisky）
インフォーメーション：中文為諮詢台，例如百貨公司裡面的諮詢櫃台。
例：インフォーメーションで店内の迷子の両親を呼び出しています。（服務台正在廣播在店裡走失的小孩父母親）

迷子（まいご）
レジ：中文為收銀台。例如超商的收銀台。
例：レジでお支払いください。（請在收銀台付款）
