以下就讓我們聽聽過去曾在英國牛津大學念書並派駐英國台北代表處的現任外交部公眾外交協調會執行長兼外交部發言人李憲章（Andrew H.C. Lee）的旅居英國心情分享!
在英國讀書及工作7年半，時光在美好中倏忽流逝！離開英國倫敦那天複雜的心境，一如大文豪莎士比亞所說 “Parting is such sweet sorrow"。那天，英國房東夫婦遠從Dorset (倫敦西南方)駕車2個半小時北上送行，左鄰右舍男女老幼也齊集門口擁抱話別。此情此景至今縈繞不去，擁抱的溫度依稀猶存。現今四年過去了，國會的大笨鐘、泰晤士河上的夕陽、湖區的山光水影、還有英國女王慈藹的笑容，依然向我召喚。不禁想起二戰期間英國「軍中情人」Vera Lynn最撫慰當時人心的一首歌 "We'll meet again"(後會有期）
