【童畫足印親子工作坊🦶🏻🎨】
透過色調、筆觸、選材都反映了創作者的想法，你多久沒有執筆繪畫呢？是次工作坊藝術家葉雯將會分享個人創作的藝術經驗， 並誠邀家長與小孩一同以繪畫記錄身體， 創作出獨有的紀念作品，讓繪畫留在當下。
導師簡介: 葉雯 Manny Yip
葉雯⽣於香港，2017年獲墨爾本皇家理⼯⼤學與香港藝術學院合辦之榮譽學⼠，主修繪畫。創作圍繞記憶、童年和⾃我探究過程，以過去與想像建造出⾃有抽象及開放的詮釋空間。2017年獲香港特別⾏政區政府獎學基⾦外展體驗獎，於保加利亞及芝加哥進⾏藝術家駐留計劃，2019年獲藝發局新苗藝術資助展覽《某年某地》，作品先後於香港、美國及東歐展出。葉⽒曾被邀與多個⽂化及商業單位合作聯乘創作，並策劃藝術教育活動。
【Painting with Child Workshop 🦶🏻🎨】
Creation is an innate ability born with, we know drawing before writing, while painting is one of the most primitive ways of creation. The colour, brushstrokes and selection of themes all reflect the artist’s thoughts. How long have you not been painting? In this workshop, Manny will share her personal artistic experience, and sincerely invite participants to record their bodies with children through painting, creating unique artwork.
Tutor introduction:
Manny Yip (Hong Kong) received BAFA at Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology University (co- presented with Hong Kong Art School), major in painting in 2017. Her works capture senses of childhood innocence which are both reflections of her memories and yearnings. The abstraction and openness of the spatial interpretation in her works also speak for themselves. They are not merely an obsession with the past, but also an inviting space for viewers to freely associate with their own memories and imaginations.
She has been awarded the Reaching Out Award (2017) which included artist residency programmes in Bulgaria & Chicago, and Grant for Emerging Artists (2019) from Hong Kong Arts Development Council. Her artworks were collected by private collectors and exhibited in several cities, Hong Kong, United States and Europe. She has also been invited as a selected artist by commercial corporations and as a programme instructor for schools.

💕「愛台灣，我的選擇」第11發: 藝術家Jason Cole Mager 創作「致台灣」系列畫作

「我在美國印第安納波利斯長大，並在當地的約翰赫倫藝術學院攻讀藝術學士學位，後來我拿到芝加哥藝術學院的獎學金，到波士頓的美術館學院就讀學士後學位，最後在紐約亨特學院完成我的藝術碩士學位。當時，我住在紐約布魯克林區的一個大閣樓，我在Airbnb上把房間出租給來自世界各國的旅客，進而認識了許多人，他們總是很熱情地告訴我，之後一定要去拜訪他們，他們會招待我！我也從中認識了一位來自台灣的旅客，在他的邀請下，我來到了台灣。」

「當我來到這裡時，一下子便愛上了台灣，最後甚至還拿了藝術家簽證來台。台灣經驗完全改變了我創作的方式，我開始對許多新圖像和符號產生興趣。研究所畢業之後，我一直想要就家族歷史進行創作，當時我看了很多二戰的老照片，我的家人曾經派駐亞太和歐洲戰場，當我來到台灣時，我才知道有些美國人在二戰時被關在台灣的戰俘營。」

「我住在金山南路的交叉路口，那裡有一個紀念碑，是為了追悼日治時期被槍決的14位美軍戰俘。我有很多作品是關於台灣被殖民的時期，我也深深著迷於台灣人使用印章和簽名的方法，對於台灣人來說可能覺得很枯燥乏味，但我很喜歡！後來我拋下畫筆，開始使用印章創作，我也刻了很多不同樣式的印章。舉例來說，我有一個作品是有關日本人要離開台灣，和美國在其中扮演的角色；也有一個作品是將鄭成功家族家徽和荷蘭東印度公司的標誌合併在一起。我讀了很多台灣的歷史，在17世紀時，紐約和台灣都有荷蘭人的足跡，這讓我格外覺得和台灣有更深的連結！」

“ I grew up in Indianapolis, that’s where I eventually went to art school. I did my BFA at Herron School of Art, which is part of Indiana University. I had a fellowship through the Art Institute in Chicago, then I did my post-baccalaureate work in Boston at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts and a master’s at Hunter college in New York City. I lived in a large loft in Brooklyn. I rented out a room on Airbnb and I started meeting tons of travelers. People always said, “You should come visit me [in their home country] and stay with me!” Someone from Taiwan stayed with me, and I actually took them up on the offer. When I came here, I just fell in love with it. Eventually, I got an artist visa. Coming to Taiwan completely changed the way I paint. I started seeing all these new images, these symbols. After grad school, I wanted to make work that was about my family’s history. I was looking at all these old photos from World War II. My family served in the Pacific and European theater. When I came out here, I learned that Americans had actually been in prison in Taiwan during WW2. I live right around the corner from金山南路, where there’s a plaque for 14 soldiers that were shot against that wall during the Japanese occupation. A lot of my work is about Taiwan being occupied. I’m also really fascinated with Taiwan’s use of stamps, how people sign their names with stamps. For people here, they’re boring, but I loved them. I stopped using brush work and started to using stamps in my work, including carving my own stamps to create all these symbols. So for example, this work deals with Japan leaving Taiwan and the U.S. role in that transition. Over there is an image that incorporates 鄭成功’s family crest with the emblem of the Dutch East Trade Company. I read a good deal of Taiwanese history and I was really interested in the fact that the Dutch colonized New York during the 1600s, the same period that they came to Taiwan, so we shared that moment.”

故事的開始，從歌手張靚穎所扮演的OL上班族拉開序幕，電話那頭傳來老闆的責駡，正在逛芝加哥美術館( Art Institute of Chicago)的倒楣OL，莫名闖入名畫的世界，展開一連串不可思議的奇幻冒險。

此MV我們嘗試以有趣流暢的轉場,貫穿12幅世界名畫，並且顛覆改寫原先名畫的世界觀，做出了全新的定義，例如：梵谷的耳朵原來是被拳王泰森給咬下來的、拾穗中間彎著腰的女性抬起頭來，原來是戴珍珠耳環的少女、孟克吶喊那座橋後方的兩個黑衣人原來是MIB，而吶喊的原因是看到了達利畫中的巨大神獸所以尖叫吶喊、而最後名畫Nighthawks寂寞咖啡廳裡背對西裝男，竟然是達利的背影……等等。

為了讓平面經典以3D重現，將名畫"立體化"是此次MV最大的挑戰，我們找來了優秀的藝術畫家們，將所有看的到的搭景、服裝、甚至演員與歌手全都畫上了"筆觸"，"極不正常"的MV拍攝手法，極度實驗性的拍攝現場，只有瘋狂！

雖然劇本創意不按牌理出牌，也可以說非常"前衛另類＆狂野"，但回歸現實製作層面，如何呈現畫作本質並賦予新的生命，新舊衝突的融合、筆觸的臨摹、質感呈現更是實際我們要克服的一大挑戰。以正統藝術與美感為基底，創意為輔，融入超展開的惡搞劇情，加上目不暇給的CG動畫特效，這是各方專業跨界努力後的成果，請開心享用!

此外，值得一提的是歌手張靚穎的勇氣與野心，沒有底線、不給創作者任何框架的創作空間，就算是被顏料畫得面目全非也盡力配合，求得只是一個創意的完整，這是身為一個主流歌手非常難能可貴的，你去看看那些主流的CD封面或MV就可充分瞭解這其中的突破了，華語歌手總是被要求臉要清楚、要大、要美、舞蹈要好記.....創意總是被放在很後面，而這MV最令人振奮的是，我們終於可以把創意放在第一位了!!!

Singer Zhang Liangying, portrays the role of an office lady and was presented at the beginning of the story. This unlucky lady was blamed by her boss over the phone when she visited the Art Institute of Chicago. Suddenly, she enters a world of famous paintings, and was on her way to a fantastic adventure.

In this MV, we try to connect 12 world-known paintings through interesting and smooth transitions. The original values of those paintings are re-defined. For example, Van Gogh’s ear is bitten by Mike Tyson; when the girl in the Gleaners looks up, she becomes the Girl with A Pearl Earring; the two men in black at the end of the bridge in the Scream by Edvard Munch are actually MIB, and they scream because they see the big monster in the painting of Dali; and the man in suit sitting with his back to us in the lonely café of the last painting Nighthawks, is Dali, and so on.

The 3D effect of those famous paintings is the largest challenge in this MV. We invited excellent artists to contribute their ideas and skills on all the scenes, costumes, actors and the singer. The innovative shooting methods are extremely experimental, which seems crazy!

Although the concept of the script is radical, weird and wild, the revival of paintings, the integration of the new and the old, the copy of painting lines and the texture presentation in the production process are all challenges. The traditional arts and aesthetics are supported by creativity, and innovative story line and the overwhelming CG are integrated. The MV was made possible through the efforts of experts in various fields. We hope you enjoy it!
