The hubby told them "You all never go overseas for holiday but you get to go out for fun activities almost every single day!" My mum told them "You are so lucky. Back in the old days, your Mama never got to go out much as a child." Well, I can only hope the kids will appreciate what they've been given and never take things for granted in their lives.
Being together all day is what I love most about holidays. Just eat, drink, sleep, play, laugh and be merry! Okay, still have to nag about doing homework and helping with chores, and deal with bickers and tantrums (what's new?), but I still ❤ school holidays because it makes us feel free.
