1) Selepas check in, ketuk pintu dulu sebelum masuk bilik.
Salah satu sengaja terbalikkan. Kerana 'benda' ni mereka suka 'm...
Continue ReadingTo those who are always on the outstation for official affairs or holidays, while staying in a hotel, try to practice the next things:
1) After checking in, knock on the door first before entering the room. Open the door and greet. We didn't know there was ' thing ' or not in the room. At least if there were, ' he ' knows we're the civilized type.
2) Those shoes / slippers if possible, don't be arranged closely. One of the deliberately turned upside down. Because of this ' thing ' they like to ' try ' our stuff. When tried with something ' bad ', he'll stay there, not so ' him ' follows us home.
3) If the window cloth is closed and the day is still noon, open the cloth and window for a moment. According to Chinese faith, by opening this window, the ' heat s' from the outside will enter to fill the inside and anything that is ' cool ' inside will come out. Short said, make sure the room has air circulation.
4) Knock, and open the bathroom door and put the lights on and leave the door open (for a moment), also for air circulation purposes because the bathroom is the ' coolest ' room in a hotel room and don't forget too, flush right Toilets once (aim to remove negative aura that may have been long-stoned) and open the pili to let water flow for a while and wash hands and feet.
5) If you're the only one and given a twin room, fill up one of those beds with items like bags, clothes, pants, documents and pillows that are not used if possible, put it in the bed you're going to sleep.
If you get a room with Queen or King type bed, use it to all the pillows that have and sleep in the bed. Don't just sleep beside me and leave the other side empty.
6) When going to bed, leave one of the lights in the room installed or at least apply the lights in the bathroom and leave the door open. It's not that we don't know, that ' thing's most like to disturb when it is dark
7) Always practice reading prayers for peace, peace and safety before, during and after sleep. We each have our own way.

There's once, our friend, Asrul (not real name) went to Melaka on the official affairs of the ministry. It's normal, this ministry and department have a lot of business around the country. From Kuala Lumpur, he drove and took about 2 hours to get to Melaka.
As soon as he was in Melaka, he immediately checked in at a boutique hotel located on the side of Sungai Melaka. The hotel from the outside to the inside is beautiful. This As is also satisfied with the room he got. Since he only took the single room, the size of the room is not big. Enough for just one person but the cleanliness and decoration in the room is really tip top. Nothing is less. Set up the room like this; when entering, the wardrobe is on the right and the door to the bathroom on the left. And the side of the wardrobe continues to connect with the writing table and after the writing table is the single bed she is crossed and television is placed on the wall.
This As, after he put all his stuff in the closet and washed his face, he also came back to travel around Melaka City. Luckily the hotel he was inap is around the tourist focus area so it's easy for him to walk there.
After Asa hosted her appetite at one of the caffe near her hotel, she also walked back. When she came back to her room just now, she was surprised to see her bathroom door closed because the time she was out just left open. As thought maybe he forgot that he was closing the bathroom door just now so he didn't even think much.
When As was in the shower, she kept washing her hair, suddenly she heard a sound like her bathroom door was opened. He quickly swallowed a curtain shower and saw the door still closed. Hmmm..... sounds from the next room. So he continued his bath again and after finishing, he came out to take clothes from the bag. The joy of her seeing one of the closet doors open. ′′ Eh... when will I open this ha ′′ he asked himself. Without thinking long, he took his shirt and pants back and put the bag back into the closet and closed it back.
During the middle Assembly of Fast & Furious shows on television glass, suddenly from her left eye she noticed something was moving around the entrance so she kept turning to look more clear. Apparently, the wardrobe door opens back and the bathroom door closes. ′′ It's different like this ′′ his heart moves. So As also walked into the wardrobe and closed the wardrobe back and he turned the bathroom door button. Her bathroom door button is the type that doesn't have a lock button because the paired lock is the type of flick we pull and push. But the door cannot be opened. Here you go!
......... Bathroom door locked inside.
As is starting to feel scary, but he strengthens his spirit by reading the Seat verse over and over again and over again knocking on the bathroom door locked from inside and suddenly he heard something. The sound behind a locked door is like someone's voice from the bathroom asking ′′ You want to enter? Hehehehehe ′′ The As's rome hair is gone.
Then he grabbed the room lock and he kept moving down to the lobby. She told the receptionist who was on duty that her room had ghosts. Receptionist eyes bought to see after hearing what came out of As's mouth. As told miss receptionist that her bathroom door was locked from the inside and there was a voice laughing from the inside.
Spooked, the miss immediately asked a colleague of her coincidentally there to accompany her As back to the room to investigate.
After they both went to the Assembly room, they were shocked to see the condition of his messy room. Blankets, pillows, clothes are on the floor, some are hanging on television. Her clothing bag that is actually in the closet is now in the middle of the room and looks like it's dismantled. Papers needed for official affairs are covered at the writing desk, and in the chair.
The hotel worker who accompanied As just now rejected the bathroom door and was shocked to see the situation inside. Shower curtain torn, all the toiletries on the floor, and his eyes saw something on the wall. He called As ′′ Bang bang, come see what this is?" As also entered and stunned to see a writing on the bathroom wall. Just one word...... GET OUT!!!!!
As what else, it's really not as fast as lightning as he's worried about all of his items that were in the room with the help of that hotel worker just now. While packing up, the lights in the room started to swallow several times and the television show channel changed by myself. When they left the room in a hurry, when closing the door they both heard female voices judging from the bathroom. In fear, they were viewing each other, As and hotel workers kept accelerating down the lobby.
As that night kept checking out of the hotel and with the help of the receptionist, she managed to be placed in another hotel nearby. However, that night the US couldn't sleep well because I keep thinking about the incident he had before. Short said, he fell asleep making the room lights all paired.
Since from the experience incident that night, every time As is on the outstation, he will always remember to do the above 7 things and he said alhamdullilah, until now, everything is smooth and disturbance free.
That's all my donation for this time.
Hope you all are entertained hehehehe....

========================
01.
When you leave your home, wear gloves—winter mittens or outdoor gloves—and keep them on in subways, buses, and public spaces.
02.
If you are in a social situation where you should remove your gloves, perhaps to shake hands or dine, do not touch your face or eyes, no matter how much something itches. Keep your hands away from contact with your face. And before you put your gloves back on, wash your hands thoroughly with soap and warm water, scrubbing the fingers. Put your gloves on.
03.
Change gloves daily, washing them thoroughly, and avoid wearing damp gloves.
04.
Masks are useless when worn outdoors and may not be very helpful even indoors. Most masks deteriorate after one or two wearings. Using the same mask day after day is worse than useless—it’s disgusting, as the contents of your mouth and nose eventually coat the inside of the mask with a smelly veneer that is attractive to bacteria. I rarely wear a face mask in an epidemic, and I have been in more than 30 outbreaks.
Instead, I stay away from crowds, and I keep my distance from individual people—a half meter, about 1.5 feet, is a good standard. If someone is coughing or sneezing, I ask them to put on a mask—to protect me from their potentially contaminated fluids. If they decline, I step a meter (about 3 feet) away from them, or I leave. Don’t shake hands or hug people—politely beg off, saying it’s better for both of you not to come in close contact during an epidemic.
05.
Inside your household, remove all of the towels from your bathrooms and kitchen immediately, and replace them with clean towels that have the names of each family member on them. Instruct everybody in your home to only use their own towels and never touch another family member’s. Wash all towels twice a week. Damp towels provide terrific homes for viruses, like common colds, flus, and, yes, coronaviruses.
06.
Be careful with doorknobs. If it’s possible to open and close doors using your elbows or shoulders, do so. Wear gloves to turn a doorknob—or wash your hands after touching it. If anybody in your home takes sick, wash your doorknobs regularly. Similarly, be cautious with stairway banisters, desktops, cell phones, toys, laptops—any objects that are hand-held.
As long as you handle only your own personal objects, you will be ok—but if you need to pick up someone else’s cell phone or cooking tools or use someone else’s computer keyboard, be mindful of not touching your face and wash your hands immediately after touching the object.
07.
If you share meals, do not use your personal chopsticks and utensils to remove food from a serving bowl or plate and, of course, tell your children to never drink out of anybody else’s cups or from a container of shared fluid. Place serving spoons in each dish and instruct everybody at the table to scoop what they want from the serving dishes onto their personal plates or bowls, return the serving spoon to the main dish, and then use their personal chopsticks only to pick food from their personal plate or bowl into their mouth.
Wash all food and kitchenware thoroughly between meals and avoid restaurants that have poor hygiene practices.
08.
Absolutely do not buy, slaughter, or consume any live animal or fish until it is known what species was the source of the virus.
09.
When the weather allows, open your windows at home or work, letting your space air out. The virus cannot linger in a well-ventilated space. But of course, if it is cold or the weather is inclement, keep warm and close those windows.
10.
Finally, if you are caring for a friend or family member who is running a fever, always wear a tight-fitting mask when you are near them, and place one on the ailing person (unless they are nauseated).
When you replace an old, dirty mask from the face of your friend or loved one be very, very careful—assume, for the sake of your protection, that it is covered in viruses, and handle it while wearing latex gloves, place it inside of a disposable container, seal it, and then put it in the trash. While wearing those latex gloves, gently wash the patient’s face with warm soap and water, using a disposable paper towel or cotton swab, and seal it after use in a container or plastic bag before placing it in your household trash.
Wear long-sleeved shirts and clothing that covers your body when you are caring for your ailing friend or relative. Clean everything your patient wears or touches very thoroughly in hot soapy water, including sheets, towels, and utensils.
If you have space, isolate the sick person in your household in a room, or a corner of a room, where they are comfortable, but separated from the rest of the household. If the weather is tolerable, open a window that is on the opposite side of the room, so that air gently blows past the patient’s face and then outdoors. Of course, don’t do this if it is very cold, as your friend or loved one will be made sicker if uncomfortably cold.
The Chinese government will take very drastic actions over the next few weeks, and this will be a time of hardship for the Chinese people. But with these simple precautions, if taken by everybody in your household, building, office, and school, you will dramatically reduce the spread of the virus and bring the outbreak to its knees. Be safe. Do not panic.
Take commonsense precautions. As frightening as this time is, you will get through it.

"Made in China" usually means that it's not going to last or that the build quality can be expected to be sub-par or poor. However there are companies in China that are starting to break that stereotype! Come with me to China's Silicon Valley and see some of China's home-grown brands that are shaking off the image that "Made in China" means "Junk".
Huaqiangbei (Chinese: 华强北; pinyin: Huáqiángběi; literally: "Huaqiang North") is an area and subdistrict of Futian, Shenzhen, Guangdong Province, China. The area's status as a major electronics manufacturing hub, and sprawling electronics marketplaces have earned it (and Shenzhen) occidental nicknames such as "China's Silicon Valley", and the "Silicon Valley of Hardware".
The subdistrict runs from Shennan Road at SEG Plaza near Huaqiang Road Station of the Shenzhen Metro for 1 kilometre (0.62 mi) north to the Pavilion Hotel. It is at the spine of a shopping district, with cross streets Zhenzhong Road (振中路), Zhenhua Road (振华路) and Zhenxing Road (振兴路). Huafa Road (华发路) is immediately parallel to the east with Yannan Road (燕南路) further away. The central area of the district is along Huaqiang Road (华强路), a busy pedestrian street which the district is named after.
The area is characterized by tree-lined streets with wide (5 to 20 metres (16 to 66 ft)) footpaths. Huaqiangbei is famous for its variety of electronics and clothing shops, though it has a notorious history of selling counterfeit and smuggled goods

Welcome back to the Channel and to a brand new video on my TOP 10 THINGS of what to expect when you come to Malaysia.
Couldn't think of a better time to make this video than in the beautiful month of April which just so happens to be my birthday month. And also happens to be the month in which I first moved to Malaysia.

VIDEO CONTENT
____________
I couldn't have more good things to say about this country. I love living here and I have loved every moment of being here. It was a real struggle to try and condense this video down to just 10 things because there is so much about Malaysia that I would love to share.
But I WAS able to condense them so here are:
10 things to expect when you come to Malaysia.
1. THE TROPICAL WEATHER
I think it's safe to assume that Malaysia, being situated just shy of the equator, is very much a hot country. And not only that, its humid! Malaysian mornings are usually sunny, and the afternoons over-cast and rainy. I must say though, I prefer rainy season. Its so much more exciting.
2. UNIQUE CUISINE
Because Malaysia has such a mixing pot of different cultures and nationalities and such a rich heritage, the food that has emerged here is out of this world. Malaysia is actually KNOWN for its incredible food selection and I can definitely attest to that. There is a taste for every palette.
3. MULTI-LINGUAL
Malaysia has 4 main languages; Malay, English, Chinese and Tamil, and each of them are just as important as the other. Luckily, if you can speak English you are pretty much in the safe zone.
4. GREAT AFFORDABILITY
The first question that comes to mind when travelling is always... Do I have the money?! Well luckily for you, Malaysia happens to be a very affordable country. Food is very easy to come by and you can pay near to nothing for a very hearty meal. Clothing, (local brands) are abundant and so affordable. My only criticism is the sizes are a little smaller than what I'm used to. hehe.
5. TRANSPORTATION
Due to the way Malaysia has been built, its not very pedestrian friendly. So getting around by car is always the safest option. There is public transport, but its limited. And at the end of the day, taxis, ubers and Grabs are just so much more affordable.
6. RELIGION
Like language, there are 4 main religions in Malaysia. Those religions being: Islam, Buddhism, Christianity and Hinduism. But even with such a mix of religions, there is such a beautiful harmony among the people.
7. CHILLED BACK LIFESTYLE
I blame the weather for how calm and relaxed everyone is in this country. When you live with so much warmth and sunshine as you do here, I really can't blame anyone for taking things in their own time. And as much as it gets on my nerves at time, it just the Malaysian way and I wouldn't want to change it for the world.
8. MOSQUITOES
Having said that, with sunshine and warmth also come uninvited guests. Mosquitoes. Not much to say about it except... BE PREPARED!
9. GREENERY
One things that I commend Malaysia on for an exceptional job is how well they have incorporated nature and infrastructure. I love driving down the roads and seeing greenery with skyscrapers popping out here and there. It add such a lovely element to the city and gives it such a sense of life. Definitely something I hope to see more of in other cities around the world.
10. DIVERSE CULTURE
And lastly, the beautifully diverse culture there is in Malaysia. I know people from all walks of life. From every country in the world. And I've learnt so much about other people, religions, races, cultures, traditions and everything else that comes with diverse companionship.
Malaysia is truly a beautiful home and I am very proud to be able to call it that. :)
