Newly divorced at age of early 60s, she said “I want to do things while I can.”
I don’t know much detail, but I am sure the divorce was not easy, especially she comes from still very conservative Japan, and on top of that from a religious family.
I love getting surrounded by my friends and people like her, who can confront life with positivity.
Do you feel old? Let me be honest, I do. I am sure many of you do too. Because, whether we are 16 or 60, we are all the oldest today than any other day in our life so far.
Every time I feel too old to do something, I tell myself, ‘but I am also the youngest today than any other day I will be experiencing in the future. ——
Summer is ending, schools are starting. Are you nervous? I am. I hope I’ll meet wonderful new students soon. And good luck to those who are expecting a fresh new life this school year."
