It’s easy to see what others are doing on social media and feel like we aren’t measuring up.

I’ve been there - recently, actually. Seeing others share about media trips to exotic places and attend lots and lots of exciting events, I found myself asking - Should I be doing what they’re doing?
.
But the reality is, I don’t want to travel without my family. Events are great but right now, that’s not my idea of success. My time is best spent with my kids and developing a line of products that would serve the mummy community. I find that when I’m clear on what my idea of success is and I’m using my own measuring stick, I can celebrate that I’m right where I want to be. You can too.

If you find yourself caught in the comparison trap, I encourage you to define what success means to you. Not to societal standard, but to YOU.

Your definition of success doesn’t have to be lofty. Small intentional actions add up to significant changes. For parents, it can be as simple as spending enough time with your kids to develop a strong bond. So if you get to read to them before tucking them into bed tonight, today is a success. Remember your why, and don’t forget to celebrate your victories along the way.
