It’s been just over 4 months since we welcomed #Prague Mayor Zdeněk Hřib - primátor Prahy to #Taiwan and f̷o̷r̷c̷e̷d̷ ̷h̷i̷m̷ ̷t̷o̷ ̷d̷r̷i̷n̷k̷ treated him to some asparagus juice, but it clearly left an impression!
Mayor Hřib held a press conference on January 27, to announce the deepening of the mutually beneficial partnerships in the #technology and #education sectors between #CzechRepublic and #Taiwan, including substantial cooperation in #DigitalEducation initiatives, #innovation and #ClimateChange awareness.
Mayor Hřib praised the advancements in these sectors in Taiwan and welcomed more cooperation on the basis of mutual respect and mutual benefit, as well as introducing Taiwanese educational robots and spectrum analyzers that are currently making their way from Taiwan to the country.
Planned cooperative initiatives include the possibility of holding joint #ScienceFairs for middle-school students and promoting exchange in the #NaturalSciences between our two countries.
