This characteristic corner building stands as a memory of an almost forgotten past. The name “Hong Kong Live Pig Trade Merchants' Association” is the only reminder of the days when K-town was still one of the most remote places on the island and this was where the colony’s pig slaughterhouse was. Not just pigs, this was the city’s supply line for chickens, ducks, geese, cows, fish, shrimps, vegetables and fruits

急速變化之中仍然能找到這棟轉角唐樓，牆壁上印有「香港生豬行商會」。想當年，堅尼地城仍然是邊陲地帶，曾有九大欄，批發雞、鴨、鵝、牛、羊、豬、魚、蝦、菜。舊豬羊欄座落於現時的科士街臨時遊樂場。
