今天是家母官方生日，所謂官方就是身份證上登記的叫官方，至於實際上的生日老實說我到現在也不太確定，總之是個難以捉摸的人。
家母年輕的時候是個文藝青年／嬉皮，時下最流行的大眼鏡民族風喇叭褲黑膠唱片她老早就玩膩了，後來直到生了我變成一位家庭主婦，我好像毀掉了甚麼。
家母跟家父一樣兩位不遑多讓，都是走在很前面的人，家母從年輕時參加各種社運直到現在幾歲了（到底？要七十了嗎？）根本捷運都不用付錢了還是會上街參加各種遊行，有一次還在婚姻平權遊行車上用麥克風大叫「我兒子是同志！我是媽媽！我願意為他做任何事！」
我的搖滾樂一開始是她介紹給我的，小時候我的起床鬧鐘都是看她心情，偶爾是古典樂偶爾是搖滾樂。Rolling Stones、Queen、Jimi Hendrix，The Doors、Bon Jovi、The Who、Bob Dylan、David Bowie、The Beatles ... 所以我從幼兒時期就開始迷幻了，總之就是她年代的歌。
家母因為很聰明，聲音很好聽，身為教授跟學者的我爸好像被這點騙了所以有一次打錯電話，家母就被很聰明的家父追上然後結婚了，兩個人後來生了兩個高智商的怪胎，從此被兩個怪胎折磨，有點活該。
搞左派政治的傢伙跟嬉皮結婚就是這樣的結果。
我什麼事情都會跟家母說，她會給我很多建議但我不一定會聽，三十四年、三十年來面對兩個特殊的小孩，其實家母是個偉大的母親。是有她才能讓弟弟成為婚姻平權運動的小領袖，是有她我才能三十四歲還在當一個沒用的還在玩音樂的廢物。
我出生的時候差點活不下來，所以跟她住在醫院快半個月才回家。到現在住在她肚子裡十個月的房租也還沒繳，有時候她會催繳。很小的時候就開始重度憂鬱症的我，其實這三十幾年來也沒有一天活得下去，但想到還沒繳那十個月在母親子宮裡的房租，就覺得今天還是活下去吧。
她生日我從來沒送過禮物包過紅包，我實在是很糟糕的女兒，我覺得也許一直以來，她要的禮物就是我好好活著。我前陣子加了家母的臉書，吵架會刪掉，但又會加回來，就是類似朋友的關係。她也會看到這篇，一定又會被她唸文字哪裡運用不恰當，但我也不打算改。謝謝妳的母親生出妳（無論那天究竟是哪一天妳要繼續保密也無所謂）謝謝妳生出我讓我認識妳，很高興認識妳。
