本圖《臺灣地圖》是傳統手繪青綠山水畫地圖，方位上東下西，左北右南，描述範圍東以山為界，西臨海，北至花屽嶼，南至沙碼磯頭，凡臺灣本島自然及人文景觀，以及包括澎湖群島在內之西岸近海島嶼、沙洲、礁石等，皆一一繪入。
Map of Taiwan is a traditional, hand-painted landscape painting; the left side of the map represents north. On the east, west, north, and south sides of the map are Taiwan’s mountains, sea, Huahan Islet, and Shamajitou, respectively. The map shows Taiwan’s natural landscapes including offshore west coast islands (including the Penghu Islands), sandbanks, and reefs.
