คุณจง ฮุยจวน ได้เกิดและเติบโตขึ้นที่เหลียนหยุนกัง มณฑลเจียงซู
และเมื่อโตขึ้น เธอได้เข้าเรียนภาควิชาเคมีในระดับชั้นมหาวิทยาลัย

ด้วยความชื่นชอบในด้านนี้ เธอก็ได้เริ่มต้นทำงานเป็นอาจารย์
ในภาควิชาเคมีในระดับชั้นมัธยมต้นหลังจากที่จบการศึกษาทันที

แต่ในช่วงนั้น สามีของคุณจง ฮุยจวน ที่ชื่อว่า ซุน เผียวหยาง
ได้มีโอกาสพูดคุยกับกลุ่มนักลงทุนจากฮ่องกง
และก็ได้ตัดสินใจร่วมกันก่อตั้งบริษัทยาขึ้นมา

แต่ด้วยความที่ คุณซุน เผียวหยาง มีงานประจำเป็นผู้จัดการอยู่ในโรงงานผลิตยาของรัฐบาล
เขาจึงทาบทามให้ภรรยา หรือคุณจง ฮุยจวน มารับหน้าที่แทนในฐานะผู้ก่อตั้งบริษัท

เหตุนี้เองทำให้คุณจง ฮุยจวน ตัดสินใจลาออกจากการเป็นอาจารย์มัธยม เพื่อมาเป็นผู้ก่อตั้งบริษัทวิจัยและพัฒนายา ที่ชื่อว่า “Hansoh Pharmaceutical Group”

Hansoh Pharmaceutical Group เริ่มต้นธุรกิจในวันแรก ด้วยพนักงานจำนวน 10 คน
และกว่าเธอจะสร้างระบบโรงงานให้พร้อม และตรงตามมาตรฐานการผลิตยาได้สำเร็จ
ก็ต้องใช้เวลาหลังจากก่อตั้งบริษัทยาวนานถึง 5 ปี

หลังจากนั้นบริษัทก็ได้เริ่มวิจัยพัฒนายาปฏิชีวนะ และยารักษาโรคมะเร็งออกมา
ตามความต้องการของตลาด จึงทำให้บริษัทเติบโตได้อย่างก้าวกระโดด

โดยคุณจง ฮุยจวน นั้นก็ได้แบ่งรายได้ที่ทำได้ในแต่ละปี ราว 5% เป็นงบวิจัยและพัฒนายาในปีถัดไป
ก่อนที่จะเพิ่มเป็น 10% ในภายหลัง เพื่อสร้างโอกาสในการเติบโตให้กับบริษัทในอนาคต

โดยกลุ่มยาที่กลายมาเป็นรายได้หลักของบริษัท ก็คือ “ยารักษาโรคมะเร็ง”

ทีนี้ เราลองมาดูกันว่าประเทศจีนมีผู้ป่วยจากโรคมะเร็งมากขนาดไหน ?

ข้อมูลของ Global Cancer Observatory พบว่า
โรคมะเร็งเป็นปัญหาสุขภาพที่สำคัญ และเป็นสาเหตุการเสียชีวิตอันดับต้น ๆ ในประเทศจีน

โดยปี 2561 มีผู้ป่วยโรคมะเร็งรายใหม่ 4,285,033 ราย
ในขณะที่มีผู้เสียชีวิตจากโรคมะเร็ง 2,865,174 ราย

นอกจากนี้ปัจจัยอื่น ๆ ที่ทำให้บริษัทเติบโต คือ การเพิ่มขึ้นของอายุของประชากร และระดับรายได้ของชาวจีน ที่กำลังเพิ่มขึ้นเรื่อย ๆ

สิ่งเหล่านี้ทำให้เกิดความตื่นตัวด้านสุขภาพ รวมถึงความต้องการทางการแพทย์เพิ่มขึ้นอย่างรวดเร็ว
ซึ่งนำไปสู่การเติบโตของค่าใช้จ่ายด้านการดูแลสุขภาพทุกปี

ปัจจัยต่อมา คือ การปฏิรูปทางการแพทย์ของประเทศจีน เช่น
- การส่งเสริมและการพัฒนาอย่างยั่งยืนของอุตสาหกรรมยา
- การลงทุนทางการแพทย์จากรัฐบาลที่เพิ่มขึ้นอย่างต่อเนื่องในโรคสำคัญ

นอกจากนี้ ประเทศจีนก็ยังมีนโยบาย Healthy China 2030
ที่ต้องการให้ประชาชนทุกคนของจีน สามารถเข้าถึงบริการด้านสุขภาพได้

รวมถึงให้การสนับสนุนการทำวิจัยและค้นคว้าตัวยาใหม่ ๆ ได้รวดเร็วมากขึ้น
เช่น ในปี 2019 มีจำนวนยาของจีนที่ได้รับการอนุมัติจากทางการสูงถึง 56 ตัวยา
และเป็นครั้งแรก ที่ตัวยาใหม่ได้รับการอนุมัติมากกว่าในประเทศสหรัฐอเมริกา

และยังมีการคาดการณ์ว่า ในปี 2566 อุตสาหกรรมยาของจีน
จะมีเม็ดเงินลงทุนในการวิจัยและพัฒนาสูงถึง 1.5 ล้านล้านบาท
หรือคิดเป็นอัตราการเติบโตเฉลี่ย 23% ต่อปี
ซึ่งสิ่งเหล่านี้จะทำให้ Healthcare ของจีนเติบโตได้อย่างต่อเนื่อง

พัฒนาการทางอุตสาหกรรม Healthcare ก็นำมาซึ่งโอกาสและความท้าทาย ของผู้ผลิตยา
ดังนั้นความสามารถในการแข่งขันของผู้ผลิตยา จึงมีความสำคัญต่อการพัฒนาธุรกิจในอนาคต

จากสิ่งที่เกิดขึ้นทั้งหมดนี้ก็ได้ทำให้ Hansoh Pharmaceutical Group ของ คุณจง ฮุยจวน เติบโตขึ้น
จนเธอสามารถนำบริษัทเข้าจดทะเบียนในตลาดหลักทรัพย์ที่ฮ่องกงได้สำเร็จเมื่อ 2 ปีที่ผ่านมา

โดย ณ วันที่ IPO บริษัทของเธอมีมูลค่ามากถึง 3 แสนล้านบาท
ส่งผลให้เธอ ที่เป็นผู้ถือหุ้นใหญ่ กลายมาเป็นเศรษฐินี ที่มีทรัพย์สินมากที่สุดในเอเชีย

ทีนี้เรามาดูกันว่าในช่วง 3 ปี ที่ผ่านมา
ผลประกอบการของ Hansoh Pharmaceutical Group เป็นอย่างไร ?

ปี 2561 รายได้ 36,451 ล้านบาท กำไร 8,983 ล้านบาท
ปี 2562 รายได้ 40,824 ล้านบาท กำไร 12,055 ล้านบาท
ปี 2563 (ครึ่งปีแรก) รายได้ 18,747 ล้านบาท กำไร 5,745 ล้านบาท

หากมาดูงบการเงินในปี 2562 จะพบว่า รายได้ของบริษัทนั้นมาจาก
- ยารักษาโรคมะเร็ง 40.6%
- ยาทางด้านระบบประสาท 25.0%
- ยารักษาโรคติดเชื้อ 21.1%
- ยาอื่น ๆ 13.3%

ซึ่งตั้งแต่เข้าตลาดหลักทรัพย์ได้สำเร็จ
มูลค่าบริษัทของ Hansoh Pharmaceutical Group ก็ได้ปรับตัวเพิ่มสูงขึ้นตลอดระยะเวลาที่ผ่านมา
จนปัจจุบัน บริษัทที่ก่อตั้งโดยอดีตอาจารย์เคมีท่านนี้ มีมูลค่าเกินกว่า 8 แสนล้านบาทไปแล้ว

เรื่องดังกล่าว ก็ได้ทำให้คุณจง ฮุยจวน ที่เป็นผู้ถือหุ้นใหญ่ของบริษัท
กลายมาเป็นเศรษฐินี ที่มีทรัพย์สินราว 5 แสนล้านบาท

Detail of the competition for the audience：
The Competition is organized by the Reality Games, run by Reality Games (London) Ltd, located at Office 212, 15 Ingestre Place, Soho, London W1F 0JH, Great Britain, tax ID: GB199678519, company number: 08983817. („Organizer").
The Organizer declares that the Competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed, managed, or associated with the entities managing or owning the Youtube.com social network through which the Competition can participate. These entities do not bear the news in time to listen to the Competition on the claims of course participants for the position of the regulations.
Employees of the Organizer and other entities directly involved in the preparation and conduct of the Competition at the request of the Organizer, as well as members of the immediate families of these persons, cannot participate in the Competition. By members of the immediate family, it is understood: ascendants, descendants, siblings, spouses, siblings, parents, relatives, and relatives of the second degree as well as persons in the relationship of adoption.
A person who entered the Competition in accordance with the provisions of these Regulations becomes a participant of the Competition (hereinafter: Participant).
The competition runs from 21st of March 2021 to 4th of March 2021 until 23:59. The competition will be adjudicated on 5th April 2021.

By entering the competition, you accept these Regulations.
1. The goal is to achieve the highest empire value possible in two weeks' time.
2. Every player must write a phrase “teamcoco” in their in-game name.
Ex. playername_teamcoco
3. The First rule is to download Landlord Go through the affiliate link. (Player will get 1M cash if they download the game through the link).
4. The minimum empire value is 10M. Below this level players won’t be taken into consideration.
5. The competition will last 2 weeks
6. Day after the competition ends is on the 5th of March 2021, we will select the winner with the highest empire value and check whether she/he has met the necessary condition, which is to obtain a minimum 10M empire value.
7. The influencers will announce the results of the competition in the IG story after 2 weeks after the release of the contest announcement video. It is on the 5th of March.
8. The competition is only for the players who register in the game from the 21st of March 2021
9. If two players at the end of the competition get the same highest empire value the winner is the person who gets that value in a shorter time.
10. The reward will be sent at the Organiser's expense to the address indicated by the Participant within 30 working days from the end of the competition.
11. Influencer will announce the results of the competition on the 5th of April on his Instagram.
11. The Organizer is not responsible for the inability to transfer the prize for reasons attributable to the Participant, and in particular in the case of: failure to provide address data, providing incorrect, outdated, or incomplete address data.
12. The reward for the winner will be getting USD100 cash.
13. The reward for second place will be getting a package of 6500 coins in Landlord GO which is worth 50 $ in real life.
14. All complaints regarding the manner of conducting the Competition should be submitted by the Participants to the Organizer in writing.
A written complaint should include the name and full address of the Participant, as well as a detailed description and the reason for the complaint. Complaints will be considered immediately, but not later than within 14 days from the date of their receipt by the Organiser.

For this episode, I devoured 50 Otah Buns from Soul Shiok! for a charity challenge! Soul Shiok! is a homegrown Otah Bun kitchen that delivers freshly made Otah Buns to your doorstep. The Otah Buns are made fresh with a spiced mackerel filling.

For this challenge, an anonymous donor challenged me to consume 50 Otah Buns in one go, and if I did it, he would donate $800 to Assisi Hospice. Assisi Hospice provides palliative care for patients and families that preserves their dignity and quality of life. Patients of any race, faith and financial position are cared for by their team of specialist doctors, nurses, allied health and pastoral care professionals. When faced with life limiting illnesses, their patients receive medical care, as well as psychosocial, emotional and spiritual care.

The Otah Buns were surprisingly plump with a generous amount of filling per bun. They were distinctively spiced, with a good amount of spiciness and notes of lemongrass and curry leaves. As is traditional, they were wrapped in banana leaves for additional aroma. The filling had decently sized chunks of mackerel in them.

With such high stakes, I did not let Assisi Hospice down and completed the challenge, pushing through the heat. I am glad that they will be receiving their much needed $800 donation, but please consider helping them out yourself by chipping in what you can.
