Met Gala – sự kiện gây quỹ hàng năm cho Viện Thời Trang của bảo tàng Metropolitan (New York), luôn được giới mộ điệu đón chờ bởi không chỉ là một bữa tiệc thị giác xa xỉ, nó còn mở ra nhiều khía cạnh mới của thời trang đặc biệt khi được tham chiếu với văn hoá và nghệ thuật. Met Gala – an annual fundraising gala for the benefit of the Metropolitan Museum of Art's Costume Institute in New York City, is the most-anticipated event for its extravagant visual feast, but also for the immense possibility of fashion when it is juxtaposed against culture and the arts. In 1998, with the theme “Fashion and Cubism”, Met Gala showed that art has not just influenced fashion in terms of aesthetics, but also in the silhouette and cuttings.
