🌻Snowflake (SNOW) earnings analysis by Morgan Stanley
這家的熱度很高, 不過我沒有在follow. 下面是Morgan Stanley對於SNOW這次的財報, 所給予的評價. 供有興趣的讀者參考.

Snowflake Delivers a Solid Raise to Go Along With the Beat, as Visibility into Customer Expansion Improves. Another quarter of triple-digit product revenue growth (103% vs. 110% in 1Q22), came in 6% ahead of consensus, enabled by a set of underlying business metrics that remain best-in-class in enterprise software, including: 1) 169% net-revenue retention, which improved from 168% in Q1, 2) 60% YoY growth in total customers and 3) 107% YoY growth in customers spending in excess of $1 million in product revenue. More importantly, for the first time as a public company, management raised guidance in excess of the quarterly beat and ahead of consensus with the high end 3Q/FY22 product revenue guidance coming 5%/3% ahead of consensus. This reflects management's greater visibility into the consumption patterns of large customers – a fact underscored by CFO Mike Scarpelli reiterating expectations for 160%+ net revenue retention for the balance of the year. Furthermore, the company appears to be advancing its position beyond a cloud data warehouse, as evidenced by early traction in new areas including SnowPark (modern data pipelines), security analytics, machine learning and data exchange. The one area of controversy coming out of Q2 results was the sharp deceleration in RPO, which slowed to 122% YoY from 206% the prior quarter. However, we note that RPO growth was negatively impacted by the lapping of longer contract durations and a tough compare from the ~$100 million, 3-year deal with a large customer in the year ago period. Management noted that growth in new annualized contract value accelerated versus 2Q21. Overall, we are encouraged by Snowflake's meaningful beat and raise, and take our PT to $295. However, with shares trading 54x revenue (0.67x rev growth-adjusted), we look for a pull back to generate a better risk/reward profile.

Sepuluh tahun menjadi Kaunselor Pelajar dengan menimba pengalaman di universiti swasta terbaik hingga ke IPTA terkemuka dan bekerja dengan personality terkenal seperti Datuk Mohd Fadzilah Kamsah menjadikan perkara itu salah satu kebanggaan buat ayahnya. Namun kebanggaanya itu lesap apabila beliau nekad untuk berhenti kerja demi menyambung impiannya untuk berbisnes. Ini kisah Puan Carmelita Mohd Zainol pemilik kepada Carmelitaco Sdn Bhd.

Nekad berhenti kerja merupakan satu tindakan yang terpaksa dirahsiakan oleh ibu dan ayahnya kerana bagi kedua - duanya, perkerjaan hakiki yang beliau jawat sekarang adalah jawatan yang tetap dalam kerajaan. Namun enggan lagi menjadi “seperti tikus di dalam roda” akhirnya beliau nekad untuk meminta restu dan memberitahu rahsia tersebut kepada ayahnya tentang situasi yang dihadapinya. Namun, tiada satu kata yang diucapkan oleh ayah umpama sepi, tiada jawapan.

Pada pertengahan tahun 2016. beliau hadir ke Intensif Magnet Kekayaan & Kejayaan (IMKK) bersama adiknya dan melalui program itu beliau meluahkan kerisauan terhadap masa dan kesempatan untuk beliau membuktikan kepada ayahnya yang bisnesnya mampu berjaya. Namun, malangnya belum sempat beliau mengecapi nikmat impian yang beliau ingin capai, ayahnya meninggal dunia. Maka dari situlah zaman kegelapan hidupnya kian bermula. Menjadikan keluarga, ibu dan ayah sebagai BigWhy untuk berjaya dalam bisnes bukan satu perkara yang mudah untuk beliau.

Akhirnya, beliau bangkit dengan matlamat yang lebih jelas dengan RichWorks apabila bukan hanya ilmu bisnes yang diajar, bukan soal buat duit, pemasaran, jualan dan jadi pemimpin yang baik semata tapi juga bab membina diri beliau sendiri. Kini dengan ilmu IMKK yang dibawa dan dipelajarinya, kini Carmelitaco Sdn Bhd berjaya mencecah sales sebanyak RM440,000 pada 2017, kemudiaanya meningkat naik apabila beliau menyertai Circle Titan pada akhir 2018 apabila sekali lagi meraih jualan RM3.1 juta dan meningkat kepada RM5.3 juta pada 2019, Kini, suku pertama tahun ini saja (2020), beliau berjaya mencatat jualan RM1.7 juta, di mana sebanyak RM351,000 diperolehi pada April iaitu ketika Perintah Kawalan Pergerakan (PKP) berkuatkuasa! Dan kini Januari hingga September 2020, sales beliau mencecah RM5.5 juta! amacam?

Thai economy.. What will it be from now on?

Thailand exports worth around 7.6 trillion baht in the first 5 months of this year. 22.5 % decrease.
I still don't know how much export numbers will be reduced by the end of 2563

From the above numbers, it can be concluded that the Thai economic system relies on foreign income.
Be the main heart

The question that many people are wanting answers is
Today Thailand is out of sickness from COVID-19 plague.
When will we return to normal condition?

The answer is that the Thai economy will recover with markers as long tailed as Nike logo.
And we will see GDP back positive again. Quarter 2 next year.
And I will return to the same place. I will have to wait 3 years from today.
Now many people question whether we can hold our breath until that day?

Earlier during the outbreak of Covid-19, Ministry of Finance, there was a cure for 5,000 Baht per person. The amount of 15.3 million people thought about 217,500 million Baht.
As for business sector SMEs, financial institutions have extended moratoriums.

While in the tourism sector, we choose to rely on people in the country through the project ′′ we travel together ′′ because in the day that there is no vaccine to eliminate COVID-19 to disappear.
This way is the best solution

Even missing foreign tourists can't compensate
But this plan, the government has hoped that it would be 10.6 million Thai people.
I traveled abroad and spent 4 billion baht in the last year.
Turn around to travel in Thailand this year.

However, the government thinks it's not enough to stimulate the Thai economy from crisis.
Out of the hospital. The school. A. K. A loan of 1 trillion baht in the quarter of 3 has happened.
With payment plan, this part consists of

Healing the affected people for 3 months and provide agricultural equipment, medical equipment, total of 6 billion baht.

The remaining 4 billion baht will be used to revive the community level economy of each province.

In this loan, there is a question following
Is Thailand's public debt today in danger?

Thailand currently has 40 % of GDP public debt.
While in 2543, the country is salvaging the Tom Yum Kung crisis.
Public debt has touched 59 % of GDP and when the numbers reach 60 is dangerous.

This story is telling us that Thailand still has enough bullets left to make public debt today.
To tackle the current economic crisis

However, it's better if business owners stop thinking about holding their breath to wait for the COVID-19 vaccine or waiting for the Thai economy to recover.

Why aren't we looking for new oxygen tanks that are our own.
By modifying business to the crisis faced and changed people's behaviors.
Our business, if we write it ourselves, it's better than waiting for destiny to determine..
