【 安 置 中 心 成 立 目 的 】

Taiwan SPCA成立近八個年頭，因許多民眾支持故逐年成長中，我們也持續並盡力的替動物們發聲。而近年動物虐待事件層出不窮，協會年度受理虐待案件之數量更高達近千件，在每個個案中我們都會看到深陷各種痛苦的小生命，無論是生理上的疼痛亦或是心靈上的折磨...。幾年之中協會承辦了許多案件，替生命找到出口對我們而言無非是最欣慰的事，因此我們於2016年底成立了動物緊急安置中心，希望能在幫助受虐動物的這條路上給予更多、做得更完善。緊急安置中心希望可以提供這些受虐動物一個暫時的庇護所，讓動物能夠社會化，學習如何與其他動物及人相處，透過協會寵物保姆團隊的照顧以及行為訓練師的互動，我們希望動物們都可以在未來找到適合的中途家庭或是認養人，畢竟讓動物回歸到家庭的環境是最理想的目標。

【加 入 定 期 定 額 捐 款，讓 愛 長 久 遠】

安置中心內共有一間貓咪房、四間狗狗房及一塊活動空間。雖目前空間僅此但皆住滿了案件所帶出之受虐動物。每月開銷相當高，包含每隻動物不同情況所需的醫療費、預防藥、飼料、水電及保母照護等費用，因此我們懇求大眾能夠以「認養房間」的概念，定期捐款幫助我們，讓每個房間都能夠順利運作，同時盼望擁抱更多身心受創的小生命。捐款金額不限大小都能幫助協會安穩的提供可憐的動物們一個暫時的家，開始身心靈的修復，並等待他們的永久家庭。

您的愛心捐款能在年底綜合所得稅申報時進行抵稅，而您每月的定期定額捐款更能夠讓協會長期的幫助、救援並安置受虐的動物。您的善款我們會使用於：
1.動物醫療，藥品，結紮等
2.動物飼料，罐頭
3.動物用品－尿墊，毛巾，玩具，貓沙等
4.動物疾病預防－心絲蟲，跳蚤
5.各類清潔用品
6.安置中心水電費
7.寵物保姆照顧費
8.送養會開銷，車資等

【SPCA’s Emergency Animal Holding Center Needs Your Help !】

Become a regular monthly donor to help abused animals

【The Purpose of the Holding Centre】

Taiwan SPCA has been established for nearly eight years; we try our best to help stop and prevent animal cruelty and animal suffering, and because of the public’s support we’ve managed to investigate over 700 cases of reported animal cruelty in 2016. We set up the new emergency animal holding center last year in order to accommodate for animals that we rescue and take in during cruelty investigations. We hope that the center can be a temporary shelter for these animals and be a place where they can learn to socialize, trust, and interact with other animals and humans, while we search for suitable fosters or adopters.

【Become A Monthly Donor】

There are currently five holding rooms at the holding center; one for cats and four for dogs, along with a small area for animals to run and play in. The costs of running the center are high; therefore we are reaching out to the public to help us maintain the center’s operations by becoming a regular monthly donor. Your donation will help these rescued animals, ensuring that they receive the best medical treatments, nutritious food, and much needed love and attention. Your donations will make a difference!

【How We Use Your Donations】

Your donations are tax deductible and will go towards:

1. Medical expenses: including vet fees, costs for surgery, medicine, preventative treatments (heartworm and flea prevention)
2. Pet food
3. Pet supplies: toys, towels, cat litter, pee pads…
4. Grooming costs
5. Cleaning supplies
6. Utility bills for the center
7. Staff costs
8. Adoption event costs

みんなオレオ可愛いって言ってくれてありがとう😋 オレオはまだ生後55日で、三つ子ちゃんのひとりとして産まれてきたんだ。だけどみんな行き場がなくて、一時預かりをして下さっていた方に声をかけて頂いて。オレオのお兄ちゃんとお姉ちゃんは別の家族に迎えてもらう事が出来て、最後に残ったオレオがうちに来てくれたんだ。今日からひとり！たくましく育てオレオ！
命ある全ての動物は、私達と同じように幸せになる権利があります。産まれてすぐに家族から引き離され幼犬の時だけ高値で飾られ、時期をすぎると見離す。または、歳をとりすぎて見た目が劣化した、病気になってしまった、予想より大きくなりすぎてしまった、等それは飼い主様達の数だけ都合や理由はあると思います。獣医さんは頼もしいけれど医療費は決して安くないし、日本の家で中型犬〜大型犬と暮らすのは確かに容易くはない。けれど、彼らはいつだって決して多くを望んでいるわけでなく、温かい家でお腹を満たせるだけの食事と綺麗なお水。そして家族に愛されながら安心して眠りにつける日々。それだけ。
私達人間はこんな幸せを動物達にあげる事が出来ると信じています。だから、行動します。
どうか少なくとも、家族のメンバーとして迎える際にはよく考えて頂きたいのです、本当に一生一緒に生きて行く覚悟があるのかを。
動物達は生涯添い遂げる気持ちで毎日家族を心から大切に想い、信じ、愛して生きていきますが、必ず念頭に置いておかなければいけないことは、彼らは私達人間よりも圧倒的な速さで歳をとり、容姿も変わり行き、病気もします。若い頃と同じようには身体も動かなくなり、寝ているだけの時間が増える日も来ます。介護が必要になるほど高齢になるまで長生きをしてくれる場合もたくさんあります。
けれど命を全うする機会を与えてくれた家族への感謝の気持ちはいつまでも、何ひとつ変わる事なく最期の瞬間まで続きます。

動物をシェルターから保護して下さっている、数多くのボランティア団体の皆様の活動がもっと広まり、新しい家族の迎えを今か今かと待っている1匹でも多くの動物達に幸せが訪れますように。

Oreo was born one of triplets with nowhere to go... so I adopted him today. Don't worry his brother and sister went to another great family as well ;)
We have the chance to give them happy lives!!! A warm home, a safe place to sleep, wholesome food, clean water, and especially a loving family forever. Oreo and his brother and sister didn't ask for much.
They just want to be happy. They deserve to be happy. They are not part of our fashion or status. They are not decorations for the windows of pet shops only when they're puppies.
Of course, if you want provide a home, please be sure you are ready and can take care of them the rest of their life. Please don't forget that they will grow up much faster than you could imagine. They will age, get sick, go through hard times, and maybe you will as well, but they will always appreciate so much the life you give them.
I really hope that you can understand what I'm trying to say from bottom of my heart.

I recently shared some photos of Luna when she was still a puppy on my Instagram, and a good friend suggested that I should tell more people the story of how we rescued Luna during our vacation.

I told her that I am not a good story teller and I am not good with words.

Anyway, I managed to edit a simple video about Luna’s journey from being a stray at a resort to becoming a part of our family.

We found Luna during our stay at an eco resort in Lombok back in 2018, and we had decided to adopt her. It was definitely a process trying to get her from Lombok to Kuala Lumpur due to language barrier, but we are so happy that she’s here with us now, and that we are able to provide her a safe and happy forever home!

At 3:06 you will see a gorgeous black cat ?‍⬛

Her name is Raven, and unfortunately, we lost Raven to FIP (Feline Infectious Peritonitis) on the 19th of March 2019 ?
