It's back to school, work and chores tomorrow but we hope everyone enjoyed the reunions and CNY celebration as much as we did.
My floor is dirty but it is filled with footprints of the family and friends who visited and we are thankful to be able to host gatherings (more to come this weekend!) in our humble home. My laundry baskets are overflowing but I see the pretty CNY clothes the kids wore and I am thankful for new beginnings. My dining table is full of CNY goodies and mandarin oranges and we are thankful to be blessed with good fortune and a loving family.
My kitchen is full of dishes and used pots but we are thankful to be able to tuck into sumptuous food cooked by my in-laws. My tummy is round from all the good food we ate, including homecooked reunion meals by my aunt and a yummy dim sum treat from my parents and I am thankful because 能吃是福, 有家人陪伴更是福. My house is messy and needs some cleaning up, as usual, but I look around and I feel one word and am extremely thankful for that - LOVE.
