BỐ TRÍ GRAPHICS – CÁCH THƯƠNG HIỆU “THUYẾT PHỤC” NGƯỜI MUA
Bài viết này sẽ nói cách mà các fashion brands – đặc biệt là các streetwear brands hay luxury/high-end fashion thời kì đỉnh cao của “Thời trang đường phố” kiếm bộn tiền từ khách hàng nhờ cách bài trí graphics hay đơn giản là “Xây dựng tông xoẹt tông/ton sur ton” trong công cuộc thuyết phục “Mua đồ tao à, mua nhiều hơn nữa đi”.
Thời trang hay nói cụ tỉ hơn là Kinh doanh trong thời trang không phải là đất diễn của sự bay bổng. Nếu các designer thích bay với các concept của họ thì tất nhiên, họ có thể làm 1 fashion exhibition hoặc workshop để thể hiện cái tôi riêng của mình. Còn thương trường là chiến trường, mọi thứ không được “bay bổng”. Bạn có thể bay, nhưng chỉ bay khi mà bạn kiếm được tiền – rất nhiều tiền về cho thương hiệu (Oh my boi, Hedi Slimane với đế chế SLP của gã). Còn nếu không, sẽ phải ngậm ngùi ra đi ( Nếu các bạn đọc về case của Raf Simons lúc làm việc cho Calvin Klein thì các bạn sẽ hiểu).
Hầu hết các fashion designer sẽ ra một bản sketch/layout dựa trên ý tưởng của họ. Nhưng trước tới khâu sản xuất thì sẽ có 1 đội ngũ cố vấn và am hiểu thị trường tinh chỉnh lại các design đó – sao để “dụ” khách hàng mua được nhiều nhất – trước khi bản cuối cùng sẽ được đưa tới C.E.O duyệt. Sau khi cân nhắc lớn về hình ảnh thương hiệu, hình ảnh của nhà thiết kế, chiến dịch quảng cáo – khả năng thuyết phục khách hàng, POS/Point of Sales của sản phẩm là gì. Những món đồ mới được sản xuất.
Ở Việt Nam – trong quy mô local brands hay các thương hiệu tự phát đều gặp một cái dở rằng họ không có đủ đội ngũ hay quy trình khép kín để làm được điều trên. Hầu hết các bạn đều là dân tay ngang nhảy vào nên tất nhiên, yếu tố doanh thu phải được đảm bảo đầu tiên. Các bạn cố gắng nhồi nhét rất nhiều graphics, rất nhiều details vào sản phẩm để tạo thành POS hay Key chính của nguyên collection và tất nhiên – sản phẩm đó bán rất chạy với độ ngầu mà các brands mang lại cho khách hàng trẻ. Nhưng những sản phẩm khác trong collection – bị “lạnh nhạt” và gần như rơi vào quên lãng. Có chăng – nó sẽ nằm ở việc người ta yêu thích thương hiệu đó quá nên mua để theo xu hướng chứ nó không được bài bản cho lắm.
(Yếu tố này cũng hoàn toàn có thể thông cảm được ở Việt Nam vì Insight Việt Nam hoàn toàn khác với thị trường quốc tế. Người Việt sẽ không bỏ quá nhiều tiền nếu sản phẩm đó không hyped, không ngầu và không “tạo – được – cảm -giác – nhiều -tiền” cho người mặc. Hoặc đơn giản là chưa có một sao nổi tiếng nào mặc)
Hẳn các bạn ở đây – đều biết Off-white của Virgil Abloh và A Bathing Ape sau sự ra đi của Nigo thuộc về tập đoàn I.T. Có bao giờ các bạn thích một cái tee, một cái hoodie mà thầm nghĩ rằng “Nếu nó có thêm cái này, cái nọ nữa thì sẽ hoàn hảo không?”
Thật vậy, những tưởng những cái thiếu đó nếu designer bỏ thêm vào thì nó sẽ hoàn hảo và trọn vẹn hơn. Nhưng đó là điều mà các thương hiệu muốn – cảm giác thèm muốn và trống vắng là điều kiện cần để khách hàng sẽ bung thêm tiền mà chi trả cho các sản phẩm. Fashion Designer hay các Stylist/CEO của các thương hiệu khi ra 1 collection/bộ sưu tập sẽ phải tính toán và “tưởng tượng” sẵn trong đầu về hình ảnh khách hàng của họ sẽ mặc món đồ mình sản xuất kiểu gì, phối kiểu chi. Layout ra sao, trông như thế nào để từ đó – Bỏ Nhỏ và Thêm thắt, để khiến họ “PHẢI MUA” những sản phẩm còn lại trong collection.
Ví dụ cho các bạn dễ hiểu rằng – hãy nói về Off-white.
Virgil Abloh không phải ori fashion designer, Virgil là thiết kế nội thất. Cho nên mọi thứ đều rất gọn và chỉnh chu theo 1 cách nào đó. Virgil trong khoảng thời gian làm việc dưới trướng Kanye West đã nắm bắt được insight thị trường và hiểu những người theo kiểu streetwear mà Kanye West build up lên sẽ mặc kiểu gì. Với graphic iconic nhất của Off-white và mang tên tuổi cho thương hiệu là cross over. Nhưng các bạn có để ý rằng, hầu hết các graphics đó được in đằng sau mà không bao giờ in đằng trước không. Đó là Educate cái sự yêu của khách hàng, để tốn 1 thời gian dụ dỗ – phải bằng sản phẩm giá rẻ nhất và chi phí thấp nhất, graphics tee. Khi mà yêu rồi thì bắt đầu ra các sản phẩm nặng đô hơn – đó là hoodie, jacket/long – sleeves và bám sát vào cái graphic cross over.
Nếu trong 1 collection đã có 1 chiếc jacket có graphic cross-over phía sau thì mình đảm bảo sẽ luôn có một chiếc sweater/hoodie/tee không có phần họa tiết đó ở phía sau mà thay vào đó, là một dòng chữ Off-white hay “1 cái gì đó” ở phía trước. Vì Virgil biết rằng, khách hàng đã mặc jacket có graphics phía sau chẳng bao giờ họ dại mà đi mua 1 cái tee cũng y chang như thế. Làm như vậy họ sẽ không bao giờ mua chiếc áo đó. Vậy ta “chiều” bằng cách đặt graphics phía trên. Bingo – mua tới nơi.
Nắm bắt được kiểu phối layer đơn giản nhất, Virgil còn ra những chiếc áo flannel hay long-shirt với graphics ở ngay cuối đuôi áo. Nếu có chiếc áo đó thì đảm bảo jacket mà Virgil làm sẽ hơi mang xu hướng crop một tí, ngắn hơn 1 tí để make-sure việc khách mặc cả bộ sẽ lộ được cái phần họa tiết ngay sau. Quần cũng vậy, không bao giờ graphics được để lên trên cạp quần mà toàn bộ được đẩy xuống dưới ống quần. Và thế là, nó lại quá “hoàn hảo” cho những cậu ấm, cô chiêu thích mua cả cành Off-white. Nó quá “rõ ràng” và Virgil đã vạch sẵn một con đường thời trang cho gen Z.
Với A Bathing Ape thì sao, tại sao các bạn nghĩ chiếc hoodie shark (cá mập) của Bape bán chạy như vậy. Mặc dù chẳng có gì ngoài phần hood (mũ trùm) được in họa tiết cá mập trứ danh của Bape. Còn phần dưới hầu như là blank/trống trơn – mà mức giá không hề gọi là quá rẻ (~$400). Chiếc hoodie đó bán được vì Bape nắm bắt được với cách phối jacket ngoài – hoodie trong là typical outfit khi mùa đông tới. Nhưng nếu như vậy thì đất diễn và POS của hoodie là vô cùng thấp bởi vì jacket che hết rồi. À! Còn 1 phần lòi ra nữa, đó chính là Hood (Mũ). Bape đẩy mạnh việc làm ra những sản phẩm này kèm theo 1 bogo ngay ngực , thế là quá đủ (Supreme cũng chơi trò đó). Song song, nếu đã có những chiếc hoodie đó thì Bape không ngại gì mà làm thêm bomber, coach jacket với 1 chi tiết to đùng tương tự ở phía sau. Mua Mua và Mua thôi.
Để tránh tự “bóp” bởi các thiết kế của mình, các nhà thiết kế dù lớn dù bé đã phải lên 1 logic trong việc quần áo họ mặc. Từ graphics/thiết kế đến chất liệu – các nhà thời trang lớn/haute-coutre còn ma mãnh hơn trong việc “bắt buộc” khách hàng phải chơi “nguyên cành” của mình bằng trò chơi “Cut/Design and Material” mà mình sẽ gọi là “Vết Cắt/ Thiết kế và chất liệu”. Bằng cách cắt đúng chỗ, thiết kế đúng nơi và sử dụng chất liệu. Ví dụ như Undercover hay Lemaire, để có được cái fit mà các bạn mong muốn như trên runway thì chỉ có cách là các bạn mua cả cành. Vì sao? Vì với kiểu cắt ngang hông, có 1 cái hole/lỗ thò ra được stitch lại bằng vải đó thì cái jacket Undercover đó chỉ mặc được với cái quần UDC. Và ô kìa, cái quần đó lại có 1 design/detail bù lấp ngay đúng chỗ trống và thiếu đó. Bingo – muốn mặc đẹp như tao ư, mày phải mua cả cành.
Chiếc lược và Logic này còn “Cao tay ấn” hơn cả streetwear brands vì đã ăn vào thiết kế là hầu như khó thay đổi và có 1 phương án tốt hơn. Nếu ví dụ như Off-white hay Bape thì bạn vẫn có thể lựa chọn các kiểu graphics tương tự mà thay đổi, còn với kiểu thiết kế đó thì chịu. Lệch pha 1 chút là không khác gì thằng hề cả.
Vậy mới thấy, thiết kế là 1 chuyện. Ừ thì chất xám đó, đỉnh đó. Nhưng mà thuyết phục khách hàng mua càng nhiều càng tốt – lại là một nghệ thuật khác. Chẳng thế mà có môn “Fashion Business” đó thôi.

ผมอยากทำ แต่...???
มี inbox หลายท่านเข้ามาถามผมว่า อยากส่งออก อยากขายส่ง อยากเปิดร้าน ขายอยากของออนไลน์ อยากทำนั่น อยากทำนี่ อยากทำนู่น ผมควรจะเริ่มต้นอย่างไรดี เอาจริงๆนะครับ ถึงแม้ผมจะเป็นเจ้าของเพจ Startyourway แต่ผมก็ไม่ได้รู้ทุกเรื่อง
ผมรู้เฉพาะเรื่องที่ผมทำอย่าง Youtube Freelance Graphic Design Video Editor Animation Blogger Writing Ebook Advertising ผมไม่ได้รู้มากกว่านี้
เวลามีคนมาถามว่าเขามีความฝัน เขาควรจะเริ่มต้นทำมันอย่างไร ผมก็มักจะบอกไปว่าทำเลย ถ้าไม่มีความรู้ เข้าร้านหนังสือ ดู Youtube หรือถามคนที่เขาประสบความสำเร็จในเรื่องที่คุณต้องการ เป็นตัวจริงที่ไม่มีชื่อเสียง เพราะคนเหล่านี้ถ้าคุณหาเขาเจอและคุณทำให้เขารักได้ เขาจะเล่าและสอนคุณหมดทุกอย่าง
วิธีนี้มันคือทางตรงที่สุดที่จะทำให้คุณได้ในสิ่งที่ตัวเองต้องการ
บางคำถามก็เข้ามาแบบง่ายๆ ทั้งๆที่เปิด Google แว่บเดียวผู้ถามจะรู้ทุกอย่างภายในไม่ถึง 1 วินาที พอมาถามผมแล้วผมไม่ตอบหรือตอบช้า กลายเป็นว่ามาด่าผมเสียอีก หาว่าเปิดเพจมาทำไมไม่ช่วยเขา ไม่มีความจริงใจ
ตกลงแล้ว ความฝันของคุณ ใครต้องเป็นคนรับผิดชอบ ผมหรือตัวคุณเอง
อายุไม่ถึง ประสบการณ์ไม่มี คอนเน็คชั่นไม่ได้ เงินทุนไม่มากพอ ถ้าคุณคิดว่ามันเป็นปัญหา มันก็เป็นปัญหา ถ้าคุณคิดว่าไม่เป็น มันก็ไม่เป็น
ใช่ ความฝันมันก็มีราคา คุณต้องจ่ายด้วยความพยายามส่วนบุคคล
ตอนผมเริ่มทำ Startyourway ใหม่ๆ อุปกรณ์ทำรายการผมกับเมียมีแค่ iPhone SE กับ ไมค์ราคา 800 บาทด้วยซ้ำ...!!! ทำถูกบ้าง ผิดบ้าง โดนชมบ้าง โดนด่าบ้าง แต่มันก็สนุกดี
เมียผม Madampam ช่างแต่งหน้าก็เจอสถานการณ์เดียวกัน "พี่คะ อยากแต่งหน้าเป็นจังเลย หนูควรทำยังไง...???" ถ้าเป็นคุณ คุณจะตอบว่ายังไง
พอเมียผมตอบไปว่าก็ฝึกตามที่เธอสอนสิ ก็ไม่เอา แล้วก็มาโวยวายว่าชีวิตนี้ฉันคงไม่มีวันแต่งหน้าเก่งแน่นอน พอมาถึงจุดนี้ เมียผมมักตอบไปว่า "ก็เรื่องของเมิง"
ผมสุภาพกว่าเมียของผมเยอะ
หากคุณมีความฝัน แต่ไม่มีความพยายามไปไล่ล่ามัน บางทีมันอาจจะเป็นแค่ความอยากในใจ หากการถามผมใน inbox มันจะช่วยทำให้คุณมีความพยายามมากยิ่งขึ้น ผมขอโทษ ผมไม่มีความสามารถขนาดนั้นครับ
แล้วคำถามไหนบ้างหละ มีผมมักตอบเป็นประจำ
"พี่ทำ ผมทำช่อง Youtube มาแล้ว ตอนนี้ไม่มีคนติดตามเลย ผมท้อมากๆ พี่ช่วยวิเคราะห์ให้หน่อยได้ไหมครับ" อ่อ ได้สิ ส่งมาเลย
"พี่ครับ ผมเจอปัญหาเรื่องซื้อของมาแล้วขายไม่ออกพี่พอจะให้คำแนะนำผมได้มั้ยครับ" เรื่องนี้ไม่มีประสบการณ์ แต่ผมพอจะรู้ได้ว่าคุณควรจะขอความช่วยเหลือจากใคร
"พี่ครับ ผมอยากเป็น Freelance ผมมีความสามารถและผลงานแบบนี้ ขอคำแนะนำได้มั้ยครับ" ขอดูผลงานก่อนนะเดี๋ยวตอบกลับ
"น้องค่ะ พี่อยากปรึกษาเรื่องลงทุนบ้านเช่า" เอ่อ ผมมีเพียงหลังเดียวเท่านั้นครับ คงให้คำแนะนำไม่ได้ พี่ซื้อหนังสืออ่านดีกว่านะ
"น้องวิชญ์ มีคนชวนลงทุน ได้ปันผลดีมาก พี่ควรจะลงทุนดีมั้ย" อ่อ ถ้าไม่กลัวโดนโกง ก็ตามสบายครับ เป็นผมไม่ยุ่ง
"พี่ค่ะ หนูมีปัญหาหนี้สิน เงินไม่พอใช้ ทำยังไงดีค่ะ" ไปฟัง Money Coach เลยครับ
แล้วคำถามไหนหละ ที่ผมไม่อยากตอบ ซึ่งทำให้ผมโดนต่อว่า
"พี่ครับ ทำ Youtube เนี่ย สมัครยังไง ค่าโฆษณาจะได้เท่าไหร่"
"พี่ครับ ผมควรจะทำอะไรดี แล้วมันจะเวิร์คมั้ย"
"พี่ครับ มีเงินอยู่ 100,000 นึง ทำยังไงให้มันงอกเงย"
