希臘神話一直是我最喜歡的靈感之一。 也有幸在去年接到英國出版社( Pioneer Valley Books)的圖像小說案(32頁)，此張是我畫的滿開心的一頁之一。
故事是著名故事忒修斯和牛頭怪。
因為這本小說是提供孩子們閱讀的，所以王子沒有帶回公主的這段故事內容改成是王子慶祝派對太開心，忘記了在陰影處休息的公主。
不過我讀到的版本是酒神因為喜歡上了公主的美色，所以勾引她離開王子。
因此，我在派對的那個漫畫格畫了一個腰上配著葡萄的男子在公主的面前，而帶著葡萄的男人通常就是代表酒神狄俄尼索斯（羅馬稱Bacchus）。
受到文藝復興時期的油畫創作，許多也是埋著滿滿的彩蛋，所以有機會的時候，我都會埋一些小彩蛋在我的插畫裡，製造一些小樂趣自嗨。
PS. 第一張最簡化的草稿其實是藝術總監畫的，超可愛。
Greek mythologies are always one of my favorite inspirations. The illustration was from the graphic novel I did for Pioneer Valley Books.
The story is Theseus and the Minotaur.
Because this novel is for children to read, the page for this part of the story is that the prince was party too hard and forget the sleepy princess.
However, the version I read is the Dionysus(the god of wine), who was surprised by the princess's beauty and seduced her to leave the prince.
Accordingly, I put the guy in front of the princess with grapes around his waist, and the man with grapes always represents Dionysus.
I always love to hide some easter eggs.
