The Guerlain Spa at One&Only The Palm Dubai invites guests​ to discover a tranquil island getaway, inspired by the architecture of Andalusia’s Moorish palaces. Exclusive to the Guerlain Spa,​ the Désert d’Orient Hammam Ritual begins with a deep body exfoliation and a Guerlain body wrap to​ prepare the skin.​
​
In true oriental tradition, guests are then invited to enter the steam room to purify the skin, eliminate toxins and​ soothe muscle pain. The treatment concludes with a​ personalized massage by one of Guerlain's Beauty Experts, for an exquisite sensation of relaxation and rejuvenation.

Had a great time rejuvenating myself at So Spa at Sofitel Kuala Lumpur Damansara with Sebrinah Yeo, got a chance to try out one of their signature treatment - Hammam and Gommage.

I was super impressed with the luxurious hammam chamber and here's the process of the treatment.

First we were sent into a steam room for 10 minutes after that the therapist perform a Savon Noir Beldi olive-rich black soap invigorating scrub with a Kassa glove to help exfoliate then she gave me a full body mud mask and sent me into the steam room once again and finish off with a bubble bath while I lie on top of the marble bed, and last but not least a relaxing massage which was so good I doze off.

This is my second time trying out and Hammam bath in Malaysia and Sofitel did a great job, I felt extremely rejuvenated after the hammam bath and my skin felt so soft, it was a great treat.

After a hectic month of the year ... finally some quality time for my self 👻

Two years ago, I had told Azmi that I wanted to celebrate my 40th with 100 of our closest pals where I will spin music that I LIKE and just be merry. As age caught up, and another baby along the way, all I wanted was something more intimate and small bouts of birthday celebrations throughout the year with loved ones - diving, reading , meditating, yoga by the beach ..or mountain ... the list is endless!

But on my actual birthday, I went out the whole day for some much needed pampering (Hammam Spa and hair cut & treatment at Number 76 Publika) followed by homecooked dinner at Michelle-Ann's house ...with two more surprises! On Sunday, I get another surprise...this time with help by the wonderful team at Majestic Hotel Kuala Lumpur. *LOVE*
