Did you know there’s a pretty big and beautifully-landscaped Japanese-themed garden on the fourth level of Pan Pacific Singapore for hotel guests? Great for those (me included) who miss travelling. 😅 But even better for kids, there are plenty of activities for them as well - huge pool (with giant inflatable floats), bouncy castle, beanbag and ring toss games, playground and even a herb garden! Best.

Of course, the room has to be comfortable too, no? And if you book the Panoramic Room through GlobalTix, you will get the following:

What a great little stay with our partners, DoubleTree Resort by Hilton Penang! It was short but sweet and so relaxing!

My manager and I shared a family room and it was awesome. I highly recommend it if you're looking for more space, would like to be close but still want some privacy.

Our friends with twins found it perfect!

It features :
1 room w a King size bed and balcony
1 room w double beds
Separate shower and bathroom in each room
Fridge in each room w sitting area and work desk
An outer door that you have the option of closing to make both rooms your private space or the option to leave it open and it’s private for you to come and go.
Crabtree & Evelyn toiletries
Bathrobes, sandals, safe, iron, etc

The hotel also had quite a few child-friendly features like:
Fun water play area w slides, spouts, etc
Kids club w activities and play area
Separate little kids corner at the breakfast buffet - snacks, muffins, fruit, salad, oatmeal, yogurt etc in addition to the main breakfast area
...and of course, their signature warm chocolate chip and walnut cookie at check-in!

I had a little recharge at the spa the night before my workshop and it is beautiful. Motorized beds, lovely treatment rooms, and a host of different treatments available for little one to adults. The good thing is that it’s open to late so you can get a little massage after putting the kids to sleep!

The only con of the hotel though is that it doesn’t have direct access to the beach. It does have a teddy bear museum on-site and various other things to do including swimming pools and great food so if you’re like us in that you like to look at the beach but not actually go to the beach much, this is a nice option in Penang.

Bonus if you easily get car sick like us, it’s at the bottom of the hill so no dreading the windy uphill drive! 🙌🎉❤️

Persatuan Sindrom Down Malaysia (PSDM) is organizing this event to raise funds (1) for two new double-storey buildings to be used mainly to train the young adults with Down Syndrome (DS) (2) to increase the Fund for the building of a Sheltered Home for senior adults with DS which was launched in November 2017 and (3) to contribute towards the training activities of young children with DS. The new buildings will house facilities for classrooms, sheltered workshop & hostelry to provide teaching and training of living, vocational and career skills to prepare these young adults with DS for employment and independent living. The Fesyen Vaganza Amal 2019 and Hi-Tea is a fashion show which will involve the joint-participation of 30 children with DS of various ages and 30 celebrities, who will hand in hand, take to the runway and display 60 new outfits created by Malaysian renowned designer Anas Abdullah. Application will be made to the Malaysia Book of Records to recognise this Event as the First Fashion Show to be staged which will see a combination of individuals with DS & the celebrities join forces to parade the creative designs of Anas Abdullah. The
Event is being held in Manhattan Great Hall, Berjaya Times Square Hotel, KL on 20 April 2019 .. 2 to 6 pm
