I had the best time working on Blood Hunters: Rise of the Hybrids. It tested my physical strength and ability as an actor, and I am beyond thankful for the experience.

hi Taipei friends, on 2/8 Wednesday evening TCAC / Taipei Contemporary Art Center are screening the awesome video programme "CAVE GIRLS + TRASHY FASHIONS: Unseen Post-Punk Videos by Women" curated by Herb Shellenberger – and afterwards Betty Apple-鄭宜蘋 and Nine Yamamoto will have an open discussion about underground music/video/culture, punk, feminism, growing up in 90s media/music culture... etc! (and we strongly encourage the audience to also share their stories, observations, and music recommendations!) afterwards we'll play some fun music. There will be drinks at the bar. 此次的放映活動為策展人Herb Shellenberger所彙整而出錄像特輯，其中的短片、表演影像以及實驗電影等皆選自以女性為主的藝術家、電影導演以及樂團所創作之作品，選映作品之脈絡則泛及美國七零年代後期和八零年代的後龐客、無浪潮以及其所相關的音樂流派。在此次節目中所放映的作品有來自TWINART的想像產品，其風格如同類商業視頻一般極具大眾化且幽默滑稽 ; 身為表演藝術家與時尚設計師的Colette Justine（Justine and the Victorian Punks），則於影片中展現帶有迪斯可式的幻像且超現實之公寓工作室與裝置 ; 而作品洞穴女孩所帶來的思辨性歷史及其詭譎的龐克肌理以及Bush Tetras, Y-Pants等更多作品將於放映中一一呈現。這些多年以來未曾露出之影像於2013年新美術館的XFR STN計畫中，自原已淘汰的影片格式中完成數位化以及線上影像資料庫的歸檔。
"CAVE GIRLS + TRASHY FASHIONS: Unseen Post-Punk Videos by Women is over an hour of pure visually and sonic awesomeness: short films, performance footage and experiments by women artists, filmmakers and bands made in the context of late 1970s + 1980s post-punk, no wave and related music scenes in the United States. Largely unseen for decades, the videos shown in this program were digitized from obsolete video formats in 2013 as part of the XFR STN project at the New Museum and uploaded to the Internet Archive. Digging for gold, curator Herb Shellenberger has compiled a video mixtape featuring: the hilarious pop promo/commercial hybrids for imaginary products by TWINART; performance artist/fashion designer Colette Justine (of Justine and the Victorian Punks) showing her dreamy, surrealist apartment studio and installation at Danceteria; the speculative history of "CAVE GIRLS” and their bizarre relation to punks like Bush Tetras and Y-Pants; and much more.
