“Perfect Prayer”
Written on: 9 August 2021
When I am lost for words
And don’t know how to pray
I can speak in tongues all day
This is the rest and refreshing.
“Holy Spirit, help me,” I say
“What now, I can’t see a way
Out of this mess
A terrible state”
“Hold on”, He says
“Don’t panic, just wait.”
“I will give you My words
A perfect prayer
Here it is
Born of love and care
Speak them forth
Let My power flow
Surely it knows where to go.”
“The night has ended
The victory won
That pain you felt
Is now long gone
I turned it around
Look and see
Restoration has come nigh to thee!”

Blessed National Day to my homeland, Singapore! This poem is dedicated to you on your 56th birthday.
In a tough time, we must stay united like our pledge says, “one united people. Regardless of race, language, or religion…”
Pray for our nation, that all who are going through difficult times will experience God’s great restoration. Even if you made foolish mistakes, God is still willing and able to restore you.
Pray in tongues if you can. The Holy Spirit will give you utterances which are perfect prayers offered at the right time. Let Him use your tongue to bring forth healing, strengthening, and comfort to all who need it.

If you love Bali vibes, I do highly recommend @poemrestauranthk. Their interior and atmosphere are stunning. I've tried their organic weekend brunch ($348 per person) and added $98 to enjoy the Bellini free flow. Everything was so flavourful but not too heavy, and the slow-cooked duck leg was becoming my favourite dish here. Okay Monday, cheersss!

I had requests to write a poem about miscarriage and the untimely loss of children. I didn’t know if I was up to the task, but as I was contemplating these things I was inspired to write this from the point of view of the child. Although it is never a good thing when parents have to bury their children, I do believe we can find the beauty in all. I hope this can help you or somebody that you love - Sean Buranahiran
