So the kids and I had an adventure today because this mama is proud to announce that we are all done with the unpacking and it's time to resume our fun outings! With the hubby away at a retreat, I did things that he would never do - like taking a 20min walk in town and then bringing my kids to mingle with the crowd in Chinatown and take pictures with the giant rooster. Yar, I don't understand what I am thinking sometimes too. Anyway we watched the Stick Man at Kids Fest in the afternoon and I barely survived it throughout by secretly feeding the active baby with snacks, then with the help of Google Maps we made our way to the most crowded place in Singapore (the 7 Eleven shopkeeper was so stunned when I said I wanted to walk to Chinatown with three kids in tow and told me to take bus, but we said we prefer to walk), we took pics and explored awhile before the kids complained of the secondhand smoke and so we ended our night with a steamboat before reaching home past 10.
