Question: what are we born for?
Answer: I think there are as many answers to this big questions as the number of people on earth. or maybe more than the number of people in this world because one person would have changed the answer many times. Me too.

The meaning of this answer is that we are born to associate with other people in the world. We are born to be part of the world and all things.
We are born to know that something is holding us alive. Trees, butterflies, clouds, distilled into water for us to drink. There is a chef cooking for us. We are born to recognize these connections.

If we only think about ourselves, one day that we have everything but we are not happy, it may reach the point where there is no answer to breathe. But if we have a life that is connected to others, we will always mean something else.
So we exist for others and other things that are connected.
Of course we can't feel this all the time because human nature always twitches us to think about ourselves first. Protect ourselves. Exploit for ourselves. That's normal. I am too.
And that would be the homework of life that nature has given us about 80 years to practice and purify the mind to feel the clean feeling of being part with everything and lay down the heaviness of carrying "ego" And cravings to concubine who we are.
Have you ever stood on the mountain or on the beach quietly and went away? Have you ever looked up at the night sky with stars in the sky?

茶會前的五天，發生了尼泊爾大地震。於是，吾特地帶了一些出席者去買他們平身的第一串數珠。 吾細心地教導大家數珠的意義及使用方式，並解説為災難者祈福的重要性。 要唸佛持咒，一定要用數珠才能攝心。
人一天裏面有很多機會向善行善，但慵懶、傲慢、無明和疑卻使人自己障礙了自己，以爲一定要有錢才可以行善。結果，福報越來越少，日子越來越煩，容貌越來越老，還以為這就是人生。真傻！沒有自主能力的人生，意義何在？
茶會的簡要：

人的業障不消，看什麽風水都沒用。妳你沒有功德，怎麽請都請不到好的師父。就算請得到，妳你想遵照那位師父的話去做，也會障礙重重。吾教導佛法，就是希望妳你能夠自救，甚至能救人。眼光放遠一點，風水、批命、改名等能幫妳你改命，但如果妳你的身口意仍然不正，誰能救妳你呢？
人生本來就是一個笑話。不要盲目地奔波勞碌，以爲自己有用不完的明天。能夠抽出時間來茶會是有福者，能夠學以致用又利他更是人上人了。

Five days before the Tea Session, the Nepal Earthquake struck. Thus, I brought some of the participants to buy their first ever chanting beads, and detailedly explained to them the correct meaning and method of using the beads. I shared with them the importance of seeking blessings for the victims of disasters. To chant and recite a mantra, you must use the chanting beads so as to achieve better concentration.
There are many opportunities in a day for a person to have virtuous thoughts and perform virtuous deeds. However, sloth, arrogance, ignorance and suspicion prevent one from doing so. People also have the misconception that only with money can he or she accomplish kind deeds. As a result, their merits decrease and worries multiply, with every single passing day. Their looks become haggled and they think this is the normal passage of their lives. How silly! What meaning could there be in life, if we are not the master of our own destiny?

If a person does not take steps to eradicate his karmic hindrances, it would be futile to seek improvement through Feng Shui. If you have insufficient merits, you would not be able to engage a highly competent Feng Shui master. Even if you can, you will experience many obstacles when you badly wish to implement his instructions. I teach you the Dharma in hope that you can save yourself and others around you. Please have some foresight.
