在經過了47項血液、尿液、血壓等醫院檢查後,我可以很開心跟大家分享自己是個健康寶寶!😄
【先說明一下我的飲食演變史】
💚從有記憶以來就不吃海中動物(任何魚、蝦、螃蟹等)
💚12年前開始蛋奶素
💚9年前開始純素
💚1年多前開始「全食物植物」飲食
【檢驗結果】
💚鐵、鈣、鈉、鉀、鎂之類的東西都不缺
💚三酸甘油酯、低密度脂蛋白膽固醇、尿酸之類的不但正常,大概也比一般葷食者低很多
💚血糖、紅血球(還有其他很多項目)也都正常
唯一讓我一開始有點不確定的就是維生素B12比一般數值高(這通常是素食者最容易缺乏的,但我竟然還太多😂),後來親自請問了營養學界的權威、NutritionFacts.org創辦人Dr. Greger(格雷格醫師),他說這沒大礙,所以「In other words, you're perfect」。
要特別強調的是,我唯一會吃的補充品就是「維生素D」和「維生素B12」,因為只有這兩種是從飲食中比較難攝取到的。既然我顯然不用擔心B12過低,現在補充的頻率也稍微減少了。
以前的我絕對不會用「健康」兩個字來形容自己。只要上個體育課在戶外曬曬太陽就覺得頭暈;膝蓋有舊傷,走路多了就痛;每個月生理期簡直要痛死,無法正常生活;濕疹、皮膚過敏;經常胃痛,還曾經必須送急診;每幾個月就感冒一次;經常性頭痛……但是這些問題在過去9年來都消失了。我從連路都不能多走,到最喜歡騎腳踏車兜風;從不敢從事戶外活動到熱愛曬太陽、健行;從懼怕生理期,到每個月它來了我也完全沒事。
我並不是那種一輩子一口肉都沒吃過的胎裡素寶寶,所以我可以感受到不同飲食帶給我身體的改變。說穿了,我不是「竟然吃素還那麼健康」,而是「正因為吃素才那麼健康」。我是個家族史裡有癌症和各種慢性病的人,但我知道,疾病只有極小部分取決於基因,而大部分都能靠飲食和生活習慣預防。
順帶一提,我現在已經很少推廣「吃素」了,而是會推廣「吃全食物植物」,因為炸薯條、可樂和白米飯也是素的,但卻不是最健康的食品。在我看來,營養學對所有人都重要,但素食者尤其要了解,因為如果你不健康,別人會把你的不健康怪罪到素食頭上,到頭來害到的還是動物。我見過許多素食者因為吃得不健康,最後竟然怪素食,又回去吃動物製品,這是非常可惜也誤導人心的。
今天這篇實在很長,但其實我還沒講完耶~~😂最近工作很忙,下回再繼續。配圖拍照當時是為了搞笑,但突然覺得很適合。✌️

I'm happy to announce that after 47 tests, I can finally share with the world that I'm healthy! Not lacking any vitamins or minerals; normal numbers in LDL, blood sugar, urid acid, triglyceride and so on; and I feel amazing. The only thing that I was unsure about was my high B12 level, but I consulted Dr. Greger. According to him, it's not a problem, and "in other words, you're perfect!"
So here's the evolution of my diet:
💚Forced to eat a few bites of fish and other sea animals when I was little, but that was the end of it. Never ate them ever since.
💚Went vegetarian 12 years ago.
💚Went vegan 9 years ago.
💚Went whole food plant-based (WFPB) a bit more than 1 year ago, with vitamin D and B12 supplementation.
To sum up, all my health problems have been gone for the past 9 years, including chronic stomach ache, debilitating menstrual cramps, knee pain, eczema, constant cold, etc. I'm not healthy despite being vegan - I'm healthy because I'm vegan (and WFPB, I'd add).
I'm someone with a family history of chronic diseases (particularly cancer), but I know it's mostly up to me to prevent diseases with diet and lifestyle changes. I wasn't born vegan or WFPB, so I clearly feel the difference in how my body reacts to different types of diets. For me, it's a journey of empowerment and compassion toward self and others, and I'm happy to keep going. ✌️
