Instagram Update：MV後感

(原諒我打咁長篇，因為真係好多人要多謝）

由概念到音樂，到畫面再到策劃，
搵攝影師、排舞師、場地、sponsor，
揀男主角、衣服，
安排大家的時間表，邊一場喺邊度拍，
轉景要幾耐，轉妝頭要幾耐，
props 買齊未，開大會，開細會...

終於所有嘢都安排好晒...

到拍攝MV三天前，拍劇集的最後一日，整傷隻腳... 一條韌帶斷咗，兩條撕裂 💔

所有嘢停了，1,000 個問題喺我腦海轉動，但係亦有一股好大嘅平安喺我心裏面。上帝同我講，不用怕，我有最好的安排。

之後要重新再搵過場地，揸住拐杖去睇景，
感激我嘅小助手，
當時陪我睇醫生，重新安排大家嘅時間表，
好多謝我成個團隊對我嘅關心同埋耐性，
終於開咗無數個會之後，
我哋終於完成咗呢個MV。
加埋六個星期嘅後期，終於可以呈現俾你地睇啦！

首先好多謝我嘅攝影師 @lewis.lau 同埋排舞師 @windytsoiii ，
前期嘅會一定係同你地開得最多，
點樣將畫面、攝影、舞蹈擺埋一齊去將我嘅訊息帶俾觀眾。

有好多人同我講，音樂好難做，又賺唔到錢，喺香港做跳舞歌仲會蝕錢，因為budget會大好多。但係身為Artist，我哋就係要勇敢去創造，做我哋喜歡嘅音樂，拍我哋覺得有意義嘅MV，蝕錢都要做，because our Music and Message is worth all of our blood sweat and tears.

雖然MV有好多位都不完美，but I’m forever learning and taking little steps to becoming the artist that I was meant to be.

《21天》MV來了！這次很開心可以回到我長大的地方拍攝，但沒想到會這麼冷🥶 雖然那時候已經是10月底，但剛好碰到最冷的兩天，還下雪了！重點是我是穿著夏天的衣服，救命啊～～大崩潰！那兩天真的是我拍過這麼多MV最難熬的一次，因為我真的很！怕！冷！😫😱😰😭 但為了好的作品，一切都是值得的！

大家可能不知道我其實很喜歡開車，而這次的MV是以「21天的旅程」作為主軸，所以導演安排了一台小卡車，讓我盡情地在公路上奔馳，真的太開心了！哈哈哈 希望你們喜歡我的新MV！過幾天再跟你們分享拍攝花絮哦！

The “21 Days” MV is OUT!!! So happy I got to shoot this MV in my hometown but I didn’t expect it to be THAT cold in Texas. 🥶 We were there in end of October, and it happened to be the two coldest days of the year, it even snowed! The thing was, I was dressed in summer outfits... I was freezing! Out of all the MVs I’ve done over the years, this has got to be the most memorable yet painful experience 😫😱😰😭 But the MV came out awesome, so it was totally worth it!

A lot of people don’t know that I love to drive, and this MV is about going on a solo road trip. The MV director even rented a super classic farm truck so I could drive down route 66 for as long as I want! That was so much fun haha I hope y’all enjoyed the MV. I’ll share the behind the scenes with y’all in a few days.

#Morethangold is the other new track from my EP (Sound on). This song is one is a special one I wrote for my parents back in our home in Italy last year. It talks about all the things they taught me, how I’m still a child in a different home, how hard it is sometimes to have to be so far away to follow your dreams while life is so unknown. Mean each and every word in the lyrics. Thank you mamma e papà for teaching me how important it is to keep being myself, have courage, how real and worth things don’t come easy. “I never thought I have nothing, cause you are more than gold” and that’s how it is. This is one of my favourite duets of all time and the lyrics (and the subtle things behind the song..etc) are very beautiful & meaningful. If you think of anyone while watching this video, I hope you can send it to them to let them know the impact they’ve had on your life.

I have liked For Good since the first time I heard the song and have always wanted to record a cover of it, but never quite found someone I thought would be the right person to sing this song with me. When I started cosplaying as Magnus and later came across the Edom scene in Shadowhunters, where the characters were potentially separating from each other forever, I knew this was it. Plus, there are other similarities between Glinda & Elphaba in Wicked and Alec & Magnus from Shadowhunters (feel free to comment to let me know what you come up with).

Doing a cover of this song while cosplaying characters from one of my favourite shows, I knew I had to go the extra mile. The amount of time and effort spent along with the things I had to learn, get and do to pull it off was kind of insane, but worth it at the same time (lost track of how many all-nighters were involved.

We’ve all done things in the past we’re not proud of. The best way for us to heal is to accept ourselves- every flaw and moment we’ve been ashamed of to learn to let go of those emotions to truly be happy.

Everyone has a story of their own & this one’s mine. I went through a lot as a child from learning how to cope with the death of my brother, sleeping in cars because we were either homeless or moving from place to place, and leaving my parents to have a better life.

I’ve learned that life moves on, either with or without you - so learn to live life happily, wholeheartedly. Work on yourself and learn to really love yourself by accepting who you were born to be.
