Been to so many hotel in Japan but non of it steal my heart away like this. Thanks to one of my sweetie who told me there are even a steam eye masks prepared for all their guest just to improve all of our sleep quality. This is so unique and one of the highlight point for this @anacrowneplaza_chitose 4 Stars Hotel.

If you have more budget and wish to makes your trip to the fullest, please I really recommend this #ChanwonDieDieMust try hotel in Chitose Hokkaido.

First, the location is so freaking awesome. 8 mins walk away from JR Chitose Station, one huge Family Mart just right below the hotel. We are staying the new one and 5 min walk you can shop til drop at AEON nearby.

Not just that, all their bathroom essentials are really good. I tried this brand in Sephora before and really worth every single cents of your money.

About the room, it’s spacious, clean and so so so in love with the ambiance. I feel so peace here and just can’t leave my bed at all. The toilet as well, it’s super big with a big bath tub and there are bath salt prepared for you to improve the quality of your sleep and relax your mind. I really can’t find any other with steam eye masks and good night tea in the room. In future I will be back and try ANA Crowne Plaza Hotel in other prefecture as well.

Moreover, the restaurant located beside the lobby is freaking awesome. Showcasing all the locals Hokkaido food that you can’t find at any other prefecture and a plus point the chef is so #養眼 😂

Lastly there are entertainment area for everyone who stays here as well. You can play dart 🎯 and snooker as well 😱 Overall I’m really satisfied and I really love how they emphasize the sleeping experience at their hotel. My Datsun 240Z has been sitting in the back of my garage for many years now... what was a nice car that I drove just once was taken apart years ago to clean up some overspray and there it has sat since then. Hopefully now that I've reconnected with Kevin the project will take a positive turn toward completion soon!! In the meantime the Ferrari brakes don't feel right and I'm pretty sure they need a good flushing and bleeding too after looking at the fluid that was darker than ice tea!!!! Big Brand Tires in Simi Valley has been great to me and they get the call to do the job and once again I am impressed with how professional, clean and courteous everyone at this shop is!! Thanks guys!!

For that reason, I've made a Spotted Seal bread with sesame seeds inside that look something like the seals you'd see in an aquarium.
'Gomafuazarashi' (spotted seal) made with 'goma' (sesame)... haha, what a corny joke! But, I was surprised to find out that 'gomafuazarashi' is 'spotted seal' in English... there's no sesame (goma) in the name! Will this lame joke even translate into English?!
I put cheese (the kind that stretches when melted and goes very well with sesame seeds) inside so you can't go wrong with the flavors.
*Recipe* (8 Spotted Seals)
1. Knead together: 225g (1 1/2 cups) bread flour, 15g (1/8 cup) light brown sugar (any kind is okay), 2g (1/2 tsp) salt, 3g (1/2 tsp) dry yeast, 105g (2/3 cups) tepid water (it was cold inside on the day I made this, so around 30 degrees C or 85 F), 15g (1 Tablespoon) fresh cream and 23g (1 1/2 Tablespoons) milk.
2. After it has been roughly combined, knead in 20g (1 1/2 Tablespoons) of unsalted butter. Halfway through, add 10g (1 Tablespoon) of black sesame seeds and knead until it becomes smooth.
3. Knead into a ball and place in a bowl that has been coated lightly with vegetable oil, and allow it to ferment for 40 minutes at 35 degrees C (95 F) until it doubles in size (first proof).
4. Punch down the dough to remove the gas bubbles.
5. Divide the ball into 8 equal parts and further cut up the parts that will become the hands. Take all 16 pieces and pull on the smooth sides of each and roll them into balls so that the cut end is on the inside.
6. Cover with a damp cloth and let sit for 15 minutes (bench rest).
7. Put the cheese in. This time I used half a stick of 'Sakeru Cheese' (a Japanese string cheese brand) in each. Tuck in the cheese and close the opening.
8. With dampened scissors, construct the tail by making a cut.
9. Cut the 'hand' dough balls in half and stick them on either side of the balls in 7.
10. Leave the dough to ferment at 35 degrees C (95 F) for 35 minutes, until it expands to 1.5 times its size (second proof).
11. Lightly sprinkle bread flour on the surface using a tea strainer.
12. Make the eyes and nose by pressing in chocolate chips.
13. Make slits for whiskers with a dampened knife of scissors.
14. Reduce preheated oven from 190 degrees C (375 F) to 160 C (320 F) and bake for 10 minutes. Reduce again to 150 C (300 F) and back for an additional 4 minutes.
15. Take a picture of that ugly/cute thing. Let that gooey cheese stretch as you take a bite. Yummy.

If it cools down, wrap it in plastic wrap and warm it up in the microwave for about 15 seconds. The gooeyness will come back.

僭越ながら、妄想グルメ母は週刊ヤングジャンプ掲載時の1988年から少年アシベのゴマちゃんに似ていると言われておりますが（恐縮です）、 https://youtu.be/4eZNB24RonI そんなこともあって、水族館で見かけそうな、ゴマを入れたゴマフアザラシのパン、作りました。
胡麻でゴマフアザラシ・・・ふふふっ、ベタだ。ところがびっくり、ゴマフアザラシって英語だとspotted seal ...どこにもsesameがない！このベタな感じ伝わるのか！？いやそもそも似てない！？
ゴマに合う、チーズ、ビヨーンと伸びるチーズも入れておきましたので味は間違いございません。
*レシピ*（8ゴマフアザラシ）
１．強力粉 225g、きび砂糖（なんでもOK）15g、塩 2g、ドライイースト 3g、ぬるま湯（室温の低い日だったので 30度くらい）105g、生クリーム 15g、牛乳 23gを入れこねる。
２．ザッとひとまとまりになったら、無塩バター 20gを加えこねる。途中、黒ごま 10gも入れ、なめらかになるまでこねる。
３．丸くまとめ植物油を薄く塗ったボウルに入れ、35度で40分、生地が2倍くらいになるまで発酵させる（1次発酵）。
４．ガス抜きをする。
５．生地を8等分にする。さらに手になる部分を切り分ける。全16個は、なめらかな面の生地を引っ張って、切り口が内側になるように摘んで丸める。
６．ぬれぶきんを掛け、15分置く。（ベンチタイム）
７．チーズを包む。今回、『さけるチーズ』を1/2本ずつ包みました。摘んでしっかり閉じる。
８．濡らしたハサミで切込みを入れ、シッポを作る。
９．手の生地を半分にし、７の両脇につける。
１０．35度で35分、生地が1.5倍くらいになるまで発酵させる（2次発酵）。
１１．茶こしで強力粉を表面に軽く振る。
１２．チョコチップで目と鼻をつける。グッと強く押し付けてつけてください。
１３．濡らしたハサミやナイフでヒゲをつける。
１４．190度に予熱したをオーブンの温度を160度に下げ10分。さらに150度に下げ4分焼く。
１５．ブサカワだと自分を納得させて撮影。チーズをビヨーンと伸ばし食べる。おいしい。

冷めてしまったら、ラップに包んで電子レンジで15秒ほど温めて。ビヨーンが復活します。
