So much was learnt from this man over a sweet intimate lunch where he taught me to live over one sentence - NEVER GIVE UP.
It's amazing how the idea of G-SHOCK dawned upon him from from the emotion of sadness. He broke the only watch given from his late father. And he thought 'I MUST INVENT SOMETHING THAT CAN LAST THE MEMORIES'.
And that's how history was made. More than 20 million units sold later...this man is still as DOWN TO EARTH AND HUMBLE AS EVER...
