Omen6 is located inside and above a restaurant behind a hidden wall.
Just 3-months old, their current menu is called "chapter 1: nectarous", which is curated to gently introduce their brand of cocktails to the local palate which features local ingredients as well as their own twist to classic cocktails. Evidently after every few months, they intend to introduce a new chapter.
It's a cozy place that looks like a cross of your grandpa's wooden house and what you think an actual 1920s speakeasy could look like with jazzy tunes playing in the background.
He had the Macho Man - a twist to the old fashioned using Irish whisky, spice tea, hawthorn syrup and 3 types of bitters. It's definitely spirit forward but well balanced with a subtle scent of spice. I really like this!
I'm having The Globe - vodka, tequila, absinthe, lemon lime and syrup, topped up with ginger ale. Dangerously easy-going yet refreshing strong stuff with a lingering licorice-like flavour from the absinthe.
12 drinks on menu but they take off-menu requests too. Rm65 for 2 cocktails.
We asked them upfront to make it kurang manis, because the menu seemed like it could be on the sweet side....

Anddddd they suddenly brought out a shot of their version of a kamikaze using homemade kombucha syrup. Hic!
Definitely coming back next time.
