Describe a book that you have read recently
📕 BÀI MẪU:
So today I would like to tell about the book that I have read recently, whose name is “Take care of mom”, a mini-novel by a Korean writer. As an admirer of novel, I cherish the value that is brought by this book for several reasons.
“Take care of mom” is a worth-reading book for some reasons. It describes a series of touching stories between the writer and his mother. Throughout the book, the author tells about the trip of coming back to her hometown to visit mom. On the train home, the scenery of the Korean countryside is described like a picture with traditional houses of this country and the image of the author’s mom emerges. Many stories were told but the most evident thing is mom’s sacrifice to support the whole family and her wishes and expectations for her only daughter to become a teacher.
Besides, many childhood memories of the writer are also told in the book, which remind us of the good old days that we all experienced when we were young. The book is a peaceful picture and a combination of memories, journeys, and even regret and sorrow.
Thanks to this book, I have realized some important things about family, which are motherhood, family bonding and the affection that members give each other. The book cheers me up a lot whenever I read it, it gives me a lot of motivation to try my best so as to make my mom happy and proud of me.

This neighbourhood is one of Busan’s most popular destinations, thanks to community artists who have revived it. Old-style Korean houses are painted with bright murals and sculptures, and tiny art galleries, souvenir shops and cute cafés rub shoulders with one another.

//Once again, a deer has become a horse. Mainland Chinese consumers boycotting Australian products is called free choice. Hong Kong protesters boycotting pro-government businesses but supporting restaurants sympathetic to their cause is called violating free market principles.
China is, in fact, the global king in abusing free market rules. Time and again it has weaponized its economy to achieve political aims. It banned Norwegian salmon for years when Norway awarded the Nobel Peace Prize to human rights activist Liu Xiaobo in 2010.
Beijing restricted tourists to South Korea, and fanned a consumer boycott of South Korean products, after Seoul allowed a US missile defense system in the country. China weaponized tourism to punish Taiwan when Tsai Ing-wen won the presidency. Japan has also faced similar nationalistic wrath by Chinese consumers.
Hong Kong’s yellow economy pales in comparison to China’s use of its economy as a political weapon. There is an English idiom to describe the liaison office’s criticism of the yellow economy when China itself habitually abuses free market principles: “People who live in glass houses shouldn’t throw stones”. I urge the liaison office to study this idiom.//

Hwating nhaaaa!!
Sorry that today’s vlog ended with my weird confession? Before, there was someone asking me how I always stay positive and happy all the time.
But as you can see, I have my ups and downs just like everyone else, I think I have these crazy mood swings once every month to me honest.?
For the past few weeks, I was so stressed about my work but now I got it figured out since I’m going to have a video editor soon. (yah) I don’t know why I haven’t found one sooner.
Whether it’s work, relationships, losing weight etc, we all live in a world surrounded by stress and we live each day to overcome those things that bother us. Therefore I always want to tell you that it is very important to take a moment to relax and find your own way to relieve stress. Hmm I should make a video on tips how I manage my stress.
It’s been almost 5 years I’ve been on Youtube but I still suck sometimes…thank you all for supporting me despite all my mistakes and laziness.
I will try my best to make videos that could give a little joy to your life.❤️
Hwaiting!!!!

HAIR
As you can see I have very thick bangs! See through bangs are a big hit in Korea right now. I’ll part my hair in the middle and pin excessive hair from my bangs to the side and curl them while I do my makeup. With this trick I can have bangs to match my makeup!
FOUNDATION
Next Ill get my foundation and mix a pea sized amount of sunscreen into it before applying. Voila, we have created BB cream! You can also buy BB cream at the store if mixing it is too much of a hassle, but either way, since BB cream originated in Korea it is has gained popularity as a more natural looking option to foundation and it’s a must for this look.
CORRECTOR
I am using PERIPERA’s lavender and mint corrector instead of my usual cream corrector. They melt into your complexion like butter on pancakes. Lavender goes to the dull parts, and green goes to all those red blotches. Even after covering my face with it, I don’t feel the need to use any setting powder!
CONCEALER
For a natural look like this I like using liquid concealer, for all the spots I couldn’t make disappear with the correctors before.
POWDER
This lightweight, perfumed powder is from last years JILL STUART limited edition Christmas coffret – they do have highlighters and powders but this exact product is not on sale anymore! Im using it to create a base for the eyebrows and eyemakeup. As you can see, its almost invisible!
EYESWhile this looks like a lip tint or a nail polish, it’s actually a cheek cream! Ill use this for both my eyes and cheeks. For the eyes, one dab blended up to the browbone should be enough.
Then Ill get an equally creamy eyeshadow and add it to the lids for depth.
Finally, Ill use revlons crème brulee colorstay as a highlighter! Its great for lightening other colours or as a stand alone eyeshadow!
I draw a thin line extending my upper eyeline, creating the illusion of longer eyes. This may be off topic but in Korea its popular to elongate eyes, and in Japan its trendy to for a round eye shape!
CHEEKS
Its good for times when you’re NOT using powder and going for a natural look. Without powder Crème De Cheek spreads smoothly and the colour will look like it’s part of your skin. And if you use it on top of powder the cream will absorb the moisture and get all crumbly!
EYEBROWS
For this look I went for sharpie eyebrows, so I got the darkest eye pencil I could find at the drugstore, drew two rectangles above my eyes and filled them in generously.
LIPS
Etude Houses Rich Vivid tint is a like a lip gloss in terms of consistency, making it easy to apply! Once dried on the lips it looks just like a lip tint. After applying some on the center of my lips, I draw an outline with concealer and smudge it to create the trademark lip tint gradation!
EYELASHESThese eyelashes are two third the length of normal falsies, and about the same length as my natural lashes. Applying this will help me
HIGHLIGHTER
The last touch is going to be liquid highlighter – I apply a dap on the highest point of your cheekbones and lips. Enough to make my skin look hydrated – but not too much that it’d look oily!
FINISHED
The 3 most important parts of Korean makeup that differentiates it from other makeup looks are the straight brows, no makeup skin and light cheek color. This look should help you achieve the cutesy yet grown up atmosphere that comes with the Korean style, and not of couuurse, not to actually look Korean! See you soon! Bye bye!
Since this look requires straight eyebrows, I shaved mine off so that theyre easier to shape!

Do you guys like doing haunted houses? I personally used to be pretty scared of it but I realised as I grow older, I sort of enjoy going in to watch people getting scared instead. We have the full footage of us doing the walk but will wait for the official video to be released to share it with you guys!
Also big shoutout to Shawn who just gave the battery to me. I told so many people the story and just keeps getting reminded that I am super blessed to meet such nice people again and again. I feel like positive vibes WILL really attract other positive vibes.
PUPPIES are also really round and fluffy now compared to when they were just born, aren't they?
