Happy Friday! Attended the newly launched (exclusive to HK market)Martell Extraits party & listened to the sharing of 29+1 movie director Kearen Pang about the real inspiring woman. When guests asked her how different is the 29+1 ladies now when compared to 10 years ago, she said ladies now won't start to worry getting old when facing 29+1, they start doing laser to prevent wrinkles when they r 21 now! 99% of guests r gals tonite cos' Extraits target ladies! I remembered I started to follow my dad to sip Martell when I was a small gal and it's very masculine to me. It's so excited to know that they have a product targeting ladies! Martell Extraits is a liqueur made with Martell cognac & floral distillates, if u add ice & soda, it has floral, fruity, orange & vanilla notes, it's so refreshing! And I also take a photo with the unique 1% (guys) in this party! 😂🥂🍹

2001年,Eric So 與好友藝人 Sam Lee (李燦琛) 合組公司,值着他們在香港公型房屋(屋邨)相同的成長背景,以小時候每天所見所聞作為題材,創作了 ”屋邨系列”公仔。
除了Sam 本人為主角以外,還將屋邨內居住的隣居及工作的邨民,都一一放到這系列當中,化作其中生鬼的角色。
其中有每家每户為隣的”肥師奶”帶着他的小孩上街,下午茶時段到茶餐廳踫到的”吹水伙記”,在邨內蝦蝦霸霸的”黑社會”;除了在回家時踫到在樓梯轉角位置的”白粉佬”,還有服務大衆的運送”石油氣大叔”,及街巿”賣菜阿姐”等,當然少不了邨內跑來跑去的一班”死仔包”。
Estate 系列的創作,除了帶出香港的核心價值 “人情味”外,在當時把伴隨着經濟起飛的香港人,和一同為香港奮鬥過的中下階層生活及回憶,簡約地以公仔形象表現出來,更為當時 designer toy 定下一個”系列化”的開始。
而15年後的今天,他們更希望以
In 2001, Eric So formed a company with his good friend Sam Lee, a famous actor in Hong Kong. They both shared a common growing background in Hong Kong's signature housing estates, where they got inspiration from their daily-life treasures n stories to create their figure series - "Estates".
Sam was the main character, others included neibours and workers living in the estates, and many other familiar faces were also turned into lively characters.
First, there's a fat mama walking her kid in the street. Coming to tea time, there's the talkative server, with the bullies everywhere. Then on the way home, there's the drug addict hiding around the stair corners, and there's also the old courier delivering gas tins to households. Finally, there's the "vegetable ladies" at the market, and of course those forever-energetic naughty kids...
The Estates series not only brought out the core Hong Kong value - "love & care", but also neatly characterized the hard-working Hong Kong people who strived to climb along the rising economy. Vividly telling stories and keeping memories, the Estates had marked the beginning of "series creation" for designer toys at that time.
15 years have passed. Today Eric would like to re-introduce this series as the
