Happy Sunday with gourmet popovers <3
做了不下10次,這次用料最高級!燒燙燙出爐的popovers 酥脆薄層的外皮與類似酥芙蕾和Yorkshire pudding的熱嫩內裡,底層奶香則有可頌的口感... YUMMM
Recipe/食譜
-備料。Ingredients-
中筋麵粉/All Purpose Flour 120g
牛奶/Milk 10oz/296ml
全雞蛋/Large ChickenEggs 2
鹽/Salt 一小撮/A pinch
*奶油/Butter 1~2大匙/Table Spoon(可選擇性添加/Optional)
-作法/Steps-
1. 烤箱預熱/Preheat Oven 225°C/450°F
2. 麵粉秤重、過篩+鹽/Weigh & sift flour then add salt
3. 冰牛奶放入微波30秒+加入打散蛋液(常溫)/Microwave milk for 30sec in microwave, then add slightly whisked eggs and mix well
4. 在特製的Popover 不沾金屬烤皿中*塗抹奶油後,輕篩上一層麵粉or*在烤皿中倒入2t的融化奶油,放入烤箱中加熱3min/Either smear the popover pan with some butter and dust with a thin layer of flour, OR add about 2t of butter and place pan in over for approximately 3min
5. 混合1+2 至均勻後,倒入烤皿中約8分滿/Mix 1&2 well and then pour evenly to popover pan
6. 先以225°C/450°F烘焙15分,接者轉小火以175°C/350°F繼續加熱20分(中途不可開烤箱,不然成品會塌陷…)/First bake under 225°C/450°F for 15min, then turn down the heat to 175°C/350°F and bake for another 20min
建議搭配:奶油、果醬、蜂蜜或蟹肉沙拉,週末也不妨配上杯好茶或白葡萄酒~ Serve with good butter, jams/fruit preserves, honey or even a nice crab salad. Can also be paired with a good cup of tea or your favorite white wine, especially on the weekends!
