This was such a crazy and memorable experience in the Philippines! SO many interesting animals that I have never seen in my life including this lizard that I was able to hold. There are over 30,000 endangered species in the world right now and more and more are becoming extinct quicker because of human activity. It is only up to us now to protect these animals so that the generations to come are able to co-exist and see all these beautiful animals as well.

This post is out of gratitude.
So, for the past few years I’ve been visiting this small island set out far at sea in the district of Semporna, Sabah. It’s a little piece of heaven, where people are still simple and life is lived out of feeling content.
On my first visit, i saw few pieces of asbestos roofing as walls and a few tattered sheets as a roof. They called that a Surau/prayer house.
It brought me to tears. Deep down i vow that just as long as they keep simple, i will try to help them and i pray really hard that they do not need to succumb to the negativity of mass tourism.
Since then every year i would auction off preloved goods from my sponsors on my facebook.
Money collected was sent over to help them out with primary things that they need and want. One of the project was to rebuilt and refurbish their Surau. With a condition that it is also used as a community centre and as a classroom for the children whenever there are volunteer teachers who comes in to teach.
I cant give millions but the little that is collected hopefully makes a difference.
I try really hard to not let my left hand know what my right hand gives out. It’s a practice that I believe in.
But today i just want to let all you gracious sponsors, partners and definitely you who helped in purchasing my preloved goods. Thank you!! For your love and generosity towards me is helping some beautiful peoples lives easier!!

✨ life beyond travel ✨

I have disappeared for a long time recently because there's been a lot of things lately and busy...
White hair grew two in just two months
However, as the sun goes down at seven o'clock, the warm sun shines on the face, the mood is quite clear.

What am I up to?

[School, volunteers, work, article case and personal study]

- School -
My final project is to do a company's marketing plan and analysis, about a month's final report. I will take the company that I'm working now as a case because the small company that just started doesn't have a well-out marketing plan to implement it. I became a bridge to talk about this small collaboration and after communicating with the boss is very simple. Yes! He was lucky to serve us too 😂

I'm lucky my nine crew are all gods teammates ❤️
Apart from sharing my opinion, I would be happy to communicate with other teammates and efficiently accomplish the stage task! Looking forward to the results of our team working together at the end of March.

- Volunteers -
In fact, I am quite reluctant to leave this lovely small team, but because I really cannot be busy with school and work, plus the work of volunteer s' work is quite heavy, I said thank you to the beautiful personnel manager a few days ago. Canada's expectation; there are joy and sorrow, although there is a lot of work from the mountains to fall trees, there are also cheerful and lively partners who have fun together. This memory painted a lot of colors in my life after class. PM
Working on the Latin Association volunteers for six months to draw the next ton; if they have a big event that need volunteers, I'll still be there.

- work -
After I accidentally hit a new fashion e-Commerce company in October last year as a product marketing assistant, it has quietly done it for almost half a year, inexperienced start. Now it can be solved quickly. Some problems, I feel incredible about growing up like this! However, relative bosses are also giving me more and more tasks. For the problems that the boss often ask myself google to solve, I need more thoughts to understand and analyze ~ (shouts)

- Personal Learning -
Although there are a lot of private affairs, I will not let go of opportunities for exchange. I will participate in many related exchanges about the technology industry, and chat with people from different fields, and I can elevate my thoughts and gain a lot of gains. I also learned abundant conversation skills. This is also a social learning course I cherish. PM

About travelling will be gradually updated, and because pneumonia is spreading in North America, basically not too much; also take this opportunity to catch the progress!

I respect the broken minds.

Direct flights from Fukuoka to Hanoi only take 3.5~4 hours, and run every Tuesday and Saturday, so when Tatsu got 5 days holiday, we knew exactly how we wanted to spend it.

We spent 2 days in Old Quarter, in the heart of Hanoi City, eating all the food, sightseeing, and hanging out with the cool volunteer tour guides from Hanoi Kids ( http://hanoikids.org/ ). I mention that everything is cheap in Vietnam, but to give you an idea of just how cheap, our centrally located Hotel was $28 USD a night, for a room much bigger than any $100 hotel in Japan.

A bowl of Pho will cost about $2 USD. Tatsu and I could have a filling lunch for about $5 USD. Vietnamese Beer costs about $1 USD, and is a welcoming refreshment on a hot day.

Taxis can scam you, so you'll have to be careful and make sure they use the metre when you are riding, but we could get around town for on average, $3-4 USD per ride. Much cheaper than what we pay in Japan. The 40 minute drive to the airport cost $15 USD by Taxi. In Japan you'd expect to pay much, much more for the distance.

For our entire trip we budgeted $300 USD for spending for the two of us ($150 usd each), and we still had money left over by the time we got to the airport to fly back to Fukuoka. We aren't budget travellers and don't try to save money, so if you are someone who prefers to spend less money, it's definitely possible.

Then we took a tour to Halong Bay, a Unesco World Heritage Site, featuring over 1,600 islands. The scale was so vast and incredible, and the tour was really relaxing and a well-deserved break from our busy life in Japan. (Did I mention we had no WiFi, so we were totally disconnected during those two days as well!)

We booked with AClass Tours, and although we booked the "Legend" cruise, we got upgraded to the "Stella Cruise", which was more expensive, nicer bedroom, for no extra cost. ($120 USD for each of us.) The $120 each covered the 3.5 hour shuttle bus round trip, accommodation on the boat (beautiful ocean-view suite), all the national park entry fees (maze cave, floating village), four meals (lunch, dinner, breakfast, lunch), free wine tasting on ship, and even my visa letter. (Canadians need to apply for a visa before arriving in Vietnam, Japanese don't. The company I booked through took care of my Visa letter for free with reservation of the cruise.)

I'm on a binge of exploration this year. I've already amassed over 6,000 kilometres on the road last year, crossing several countries and seen some of the most amazing sceneries in South East Asia during my journey for #8TVFourByFour.

Last week i got back on the road for another adventure and i'm truly grateful for the opportunity to be a volunteer photographer for TRCRC (Tropical Rainforest Conservation & Research Centre). They are a NGO who focuses on cultivating a society who values nature and it's importance in our world. The route of the journey takes us along the east coast and adjourn towards the north of Malaysia covering states such as Pahang, Kuantan, Kuala Terengganu, Perak and Kelantan. A week away from home, sleeping in different environment and living the nomad life is something i've always wanted to experience. Camping and being on the road really changes the perspective of life. It broadens your view in culture, art and you- your thoughts, personality and values.

'State In Motion' denotes the movement between each states we visited and how time slows down when you're free from the world. Travelling has always been my passion and by absorbing the experience, I want to share the stories through my creativity.

A beautiful life comes with great stories and failures. Venture on!
