《43》曲解分享 - 蔓琪
這應該是這張專輯裡，我最喜歡的一首曲子了，是寫給奶奶的。
曲目本身想跟大家分享的，都在曲解裡了，另外想分享的是錄這首曲子的時候，當我們錄完了兩個Take之後，閉上眼睛回聽，我是哭著聽完的，因為腦海裡的畫面實在太強烈了，我可以看到我小時候在那個日式宿舍裡我與奶奶的身影，我跟郁瑛說完。
「你再哭我也要哭了啦！」郁瑛眼匡也紅著說
「抱歉，我去洗手間整理一下自己，再錄下一個Take。」我說
「好了，就這個Take了！」恩光說
希望您在天堂一切都好，我還是很想跟小時候一樣親親您的臉頰。

很多人都有一個疼愛自己的奶奶/外婆，你還能記起她看著你的慈愛眼神嗎？
我的祖父母是經歷了大時代的人，小時候經常躺在奶奶的懷裡，聽她說她的故事。奶奶是廣東人，卻可以講標準的京片子，小時候的生活就像是電視劇裡大戶人家的大小姐。爺爺是河南人，北京大學畢業，他是一個會唸書的窮書生。基本上，兩人的相遇就是個千金大小姐愛上窮書生的標準故事。奶奶有個像是瓊瑤小說裡女主角的名字「陸蔓琪」，是不是光看這三個字就有畫面了呢？後來爺爺跟著政府來到台灣，擔任台中港的開港工程師之一，童年的我在台中港務局的宿舍裡，有許多非常美好的生活回憶。那是一個木造的日式平房，有前後院子，有一隻大狼狗，退休後的爺爺在院子裡種滿了果樹，還有個魚池，那裡就是我的童年。
她總是牽著我的手，溫暖的告訴我許多人生的道理，是影響我人生最深的人，這首曲子要送給我最愛的奶奶。
04 Grandma
Do you have a grandma who spoils you with love, with her eyes on you full of kindness and grace?
My grand-parents from my father’s side lived through tumultuous times; many a night I would be in grandma’s arms listening to her storied past. A Cantonese who spoke perfect Mandarin, my Na’nai (grandma) lived her childhood as a spoiled princess in a wealthy family. My grandpa, from Henan Province, was a Peking University graduate with little means. Their unlikely marriage seemed like a page right out of a romantic fiction. Even my Na’nai’s name, Lu Man Chi, carries qualities befitting a main character in a Chiung Yao epic love story! Later on grandpa followed the exiling government to Taiwan and eventually served on the engineering team that constructed Port of Taichung. I have fond memories of living in Port of Taichung’s staff quarters, a Japanese-style one-story house with front and back yards. Grandpa spent his retirement caring for fruit trees, fish pond, and a large German shepherd, all of which painted my childhood.
Na’nai would always hold my hands and tell me softly the ways of the world. This song is dedicated to my beloved Na’nai, who influenced me the most.
